Pretty crazy chapter. Does this mean Ichigo did not have an actual bankai all this time and that was just some manifestation of his Quincy powers? I just don't understands.

I think it was the explanation earlier where ichigo draws from the reishi around him, so since he was mostly in hueco mundo and the shinigami realm all juha had to do was a little trickery and ichigo would do the rest on his own.

Plotholes or not that literally just dropped my jaw under my balls. Glad to see Kubo can still move the plot forward after that horrible fullbringer arc.

But he really just made me feel stupid now, because I honestly didn't realize the resemblance before, not even after "You should be able to connect the dots now..."

This chapter reminded me of the time that Ichigo was becoming a Vizard and was fighting his hollow.
"Didn't you hear me? I said I am Zangetsu!"
I guess Kubo was leaving hints across the entire manga, but because of the context it didn't really raise any alarms.

About time Ichigo got another power boost. Been a while since the lolfullbring arc.

Yes, but the power boost this time around seems really huge. The only other case that comes to mind in DragonBall Z.

I must say I loved this chapter. At first I was like "pineapple you Kubo, stop wasting each page with a huge panel with no text". But Zangetsu's love words were pretty nice. I will miss him, he was one of the best looking bastards in this manga.

And now Kirito comes to Bleach !!!. It seems he is getting a Quincy and a Hollow Zanpakuto, I suppose thats the best way to present his share on the 3 powers, shinigami+ quincy+ hollow. If this "Zangetsu" has any spiritual form, I cross my fingers for it to look like Masaki, but I'm gonna rage so hard if the only new technique that comes from this power boost is a Double Getsuga Tenshou.

From the looks of it, and looking at his father's Zanpakto, it seems like it is a fire type. With the killing of Old Man Yamamoto, there is a gap for ultimate fire-type...

It looks like Grimmjow, in all honesty, judging by a) how he acted when he heard Ichigo, and b) the look of his sleeves when he was getting dragged out of the tent. Also with the fact that Ichigo knew him and didn't seem to fully trust him.

Just my thoughts.

And the fact that from all Espadas possibly alive, he's the only one that'd call Ichigo shitstain.

I have to admit. That would probably be the only way to make his sword more bad-ass.

Two swords made the 15 pages of nothing but visuals to show how "strong" it is all worth it. So badass, and it works for his story perfectly. A small sword for his quincy self and a large sword for his shinigami self.

Am I the only one that thought about this after seeing Ichigo?

Sword guy (or should I say, his speech bubbles) appeared again when the royal guards first came, iirc. Urahara used Kon as a projector at that time.
