Wasn't that bad, we learned that Obito could see through Kakashis eye, Madara somehow knew, and why Obito now is bad guy.

I don't think I believe it. They're ("Kakashi and Rin") are almost certainly zetsu clones being used to trick Obito

Whatever lead things to that outcome, one thing is sure, Madara was pulling the strings to get Obito to commint to him.
One thing doesn't fit though. Why would Obito hold back and not go after Kakashi if he thought Kakashi killed Rin?. Even if he wanna submerge the world in a dream he could have dealt with Kakashi in so many ways first. Something tells me Obito knows why Kakashi killed her and can't really hate Kakashi for anything other than let Rin fall in the hands of whoever caused that.

So confused on why rin was killed. She either was a spy for the mist or she ha a bloodline/unique trait that they mist wanted. They said that the enemy shouldnt get her body meaning that she is some importance to them dead or alive. Kakashi maybe saw this and felt it was the only way or rin turned on him. Guess all that blood went straight to obito head. Pretty good chapter cant wait to see it animated

Assuming this isn't all some elaborate zetsu trick:
Kakashi and Rin were on their own. Whoever else was in their squad is assumedlly dead. The enemy made it clear that they were there to capture Rin alive. Kakashi just collapsed from running out of chakra after he chidori'd her. Plus, they were surrounded by at least 50 Jounin/Anbu ninjas, IF kakashi had known obito (Or any reinforcements for that matter) was there, he might not have used his last chakra to stop them getting, and inevitably torturing Rin, which probably would have resulted in her death anyway. Still, I wonder what on earth Kakashi and Rin were doing that drew the attention of 50+ Jounin level ninja anyway.

I don't think Kakashi killed Rin to keep her from suffering, specially not when the enemy still wants her body even dead. Sure there are many things that could be happening but Zetsu said it has to do with experimenting bodies. My bet is they were testing some sort of drug on Rin capable of messing up with her mind and manipulate her or outright control her, Kakashi tried to save her but was found out, she woke up and attacked him and he had to kill her not to be killed. By killing her to save himself he totally breaks his promise to Obito and although Obito can't blame Kakashi, he can't forgive him either driving him mad and to the hands of Madara.
The role Zetsu/Madara play here probably is giving Rin away to the mist to trigger all the events.

^ Is what I thought. Maybe not exactly that, but something along the lines of the Hidden Mist doing some jutsu to take over Rin and Kakashi had to kill her to 'save' her and himself.
