Fiel Wrote:Hit the lightswitch in the dark rooms. It's a round circle thing on the floor with a switch poking out of the top of it. Hit it seven times to turn the lights on, but be careful - there's always one goblin that hates the light and wants it back off.

Incidentally, sometimes the goblins throw things at the other enemies when blinded by the light.

On other news, i leveled my battle mage to 22, opened vestibule of darkness(sp?) and finished it once... nice dungeon, if i gather many armors and apply the x-x-x-stab-uppercut-palm strike combo i can kill a whole room in 1 strike Big Grin

Stupid dark rooms though... i though "lol dark rooms i can still see", then: "miss, miss, miss, miss, miss" the hell is that :<

Uhhh it's either you can suplex the monster/guy or you can't. Super armor can't protect from grab moves, but "invulnerability" effects do (you can't suplex someone who's in the middle of a suplex xD).

And about dark rooms... if you've been doing quests, you'll have noticed Kargon saying "wtp is wrong with you guys my weapons aren't broken TURN ON THE PINEAPPLEING LIGHT SWITCH FFS" and so on. For some reason your miss rate isn't affected if you're trying to kill Night Vision Kargels. Don't know why, but it makes things a bit easier.

The miss system in DFO is totally messed up.
--Octopus grabs me and starts sucking me for damage. One hit. Two hits. I break free, then the thing starts to grab me again! Miss, miss. How do you miss from that close of a range? o.O
--MasPan Steyred me in PvP and it said "miss" for the initial hit. It still manages to kaboom me though.
--Alex misses me with its hit, but OMG WHY AM I BLEEDING OH THE HORRO-

Any game that shows the word "miss" to indicate you missed works like that, though the steyr one is indeed weird. On a side note the missile planted in yur body can miss too, that make so much sense
I'm chickening out of making a Crusader for my Priest, instead going to go with a physical Exorcist, probably either scythe or cross specialist. Instead, I reserved a priest called "CombatMedic" for the role of party buffer.

I made a gunner named "MoreDakka". That's right, I got tvtropes for names.

Also, which is better: SwordBeam, or NiceSword? Slayer obviously. Either an Asura or a Blademaster.
NiceSword sounds ... pardon me and I don't mean to offend anyone ... gay o.O

Haha. I picked it because it sounded like a TVTrope (Cool Sword was the trope, but sounded too lame). I'll just come up with another name for a Slayer.

BFSword?

IllegalBeam? GatlingSword? BeamPunch? NiceBeam?

Goggleemoticon

Not swordsy enough.
For all the Elementalists out there.

Fast forward to 3:55 to see the rape commence. S:
That's just an awakening skill. All classes can rape like that once they get it. I was more interested in her being able to control lightning strikes and whatnot. Pretty cool.

Except Witches. Our Awakening is garbage.
Do you have a video of it? I can't find it on Youtube.

Exorcist awakening is pretty cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gy50TmJHrbI (1:05)
Starts at around 9 seconds.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDVmGNRdpKc

Pretty sure I've seen it in at least one other vid, but I'm not gonna go look for it right now.

Description of it:

Quote: * Awakening Active Skill: Fusion Craft

In this skill, the Scholar lays down a circle and invokes all 4 of her familiars into machines that she builds to assault enemies caught in the circle. First, fluorescent wraps everyone in the range from the bottom right, doing tick damage with a chance to snare each time it hits. Then, jack o'lantern goes into a giant pumpkin that spawns lantern runners that chase enemies and blow up on them (ala mechanic's land runners). 3rd, jack frost goes into a "jack spin" in the center, throwing gift boxes, stars, and other various objects at anything close to it (ala brawler's junk spin). Lastly, pluto spawns a giant cat head with a gaping mouth, out of which comes a giant boxing glove on a spring. As the glove comes out the whole scene explodes, sending the Scholar flying onto the ground prone. This is known as one of the worst awakenings because the damage is low, and the chance of actually hitting anything with all the different parts is very small as there is only a CHANCE for fluorescent to snare, so anytime the damage from fluorescent DOESN'T snare the enemy can just walk right out of the circle and avoid all the rest of the hits. This happens about 90% of the time you use this against a human opponent, and rather often on anything with a fast movespeed. Levelling this increases snare chance, duration, and overall damage. I only got level 1 of this skill, punch goes up by a good 800 damage per level so maybe if you max it it will do good damage and snare them, but it's a huge sp commitment and I can't see it really being worth it. But hey, I've been wrong before.
Here's another video. It starts at 3:02

Hehe more folks are approaching the cap I see~~~<3 :3 (I have a bunch of quests saved up to complete for when the cap raises! xD)

Ya...Sewer Princess Faris is insanely powerful...and there's a quest later on that requires you to defeat her. >Sad

Oh and doing one of the dungeons AFTER Spider's Lair (which are unavailable atm) on King's Road...without using a single token. (Probably more lolquests like those two but I haven't read up on those yet) >_>

I hate No Mercies...which are basically orange ghouls that have irritatingly huge reach...it sucks fighting mobs of those with Lady Specters mixed in...(which look just like Wraiths and sometimes french kiss No Mercies which gives them Haste and Super Armor...and then they punch her far away when she's done lol...o_o).

Aracloso's fun to beat up though. Big Grin...although I could see how he would suck to fight for ranged folks. Lol. Rolleyes
[Image: q7gX2Bhz.jpg]
I went ALL the way to the dead end and had to go back...xD A full run was my best option even though it was my first time there. xP
Someone should post a video of a spitfire's awakening.

Can't f'ucking find it, all I see is the female spitfire trolling my youtube.

Oh that's cool. I can command an army of hot gunner girls in leather.

Except I like how the file is named gunner70, yeah, who's gonna find that.
Did you try searching for spitfire awakening, or General awakening? The male and female awakening class names are different(General for male, Valkyrie for female), so it'd be easier to find the awakening for male spitfires by searching General.

Here's another vid if you want to see the awakening in a dungeon:

At around 2:24 is when he uses the awakening. There aren't really that many videos of the male gunner awakenings on YouTube.
