Because god forbid there be a way to earn an item other than throw your life savings at gach.

yes they "devalue" a little but I think the intrinsic value will stay intact if the pq is really that hard. Basically, if earning the amount of mesos to buy the tradeable one is compareable to the the effort involved in the pq then the tradeable will win out cause rather than a one shot, you have the potential to make money off the tradeable one when you sell it (if you ever need to).
True fewer people will "need" one if they can work at it (through the pq) but then again look at leeching... *generalization coming* those that leech probably don't have the time/ability/patience to gain the staff from the pq and thus would willingly use their mass amounts of mesos to buy the staff reguardless of the ability to get one for free from the pq.
Though I would love a ele staff for high luk bishops (put an end to all this lukless crap, and I'm a priest so I'd have something to look foreward to)

They should release lvl 160 weapons. Who cares about lvl 120 130 140 and 150.

Do want! But can you imagine the QQs from other servers? Us getting higher level weapons than other versions while they still have Timeless weapons. On the other hand, higher levels weapons that high will have a ridiculously high 2ndary stat requirement. Reduced or static 2nd stat requirement please?

secondary stat requirement is only an issue to sins/shadowers and mages. Warriors and Bowmen don't worry about it much.

Bows actually do have a requirement, armor doesn't. So only warriors really benefit fully from high level weapons.

But for bowmen it is still worthy to get more STR for a higher leveled bow, if you can scroll it on equal standards

Only mages, really. It's just an issue for Thieves because their secondary stat is way easier to scroll than their primary (though it's being balanced out with luk earrings and overalls and such), so they have to lower their secondary stat when they upgrade, unlike Bowmen who can pretty much get all their str from helm/pendant and everything else for dex.
I would support this, maybe it would get the 16x+ to stop outbidding me on level 100-120 weapons -_- I would really prefer if they introduced a whole range from 120-160 though, not just 110 jump to 160.

Level 130-160 weapons for Thieves: 170-200 DEX needed.
Level 130-160 weapons for Warriors: Can equip weapons without having to put points into DEX, so higher weapons simply mean more weapon attack.
Level 130-160 weapons for Bowman: 130-165 STR, but there's no real point using a STRless bow though, because it's all about the same
Level 130-160 weapons for Mages: 132-163 LUK. Unless the LUK staves/wands give a much higher magic attack bonus or higher elemental amplification than LUKless wands, they will be useless.
Level 130-160 weapons for Pirates: 130-160 STR/DEX. Will rape DEXless Brawlers for sure, but more DEX = more naggerishly high avoid and accuracy. Also, we all know Corsairs need more weapon attack, so either way it'd be win for Pirates.
But on the other hand, such weapons will give an excuse to let the Horntail Pendant be scrolled 2 more times, since 2 extra eggs will add +34 to secondary stat, so you really need only 6 extra of your 2ndary stat to keep down the 2nd stat of any class. More power to normal stat classes though if such weapons are to be released. Lord knows we need less DEXless ASSassins and less LUKless mages.

currently dexless sins can r@pe with a decently scrolled night raven (if one can find one in the first place) but knowing Nexon they'd f it up and throw in a dexless/lukless claw/wand in there somewhere just to screw with us

getting 10 people together is going to be a peach in some servers >___> esp after a few weeks when it dies down
elemental staves would be a nice reward, but don't be surprised if nexon only has the staves (luk required) as rewards and not the ones everyone wants (wands)

Hopefully more swords similar to the Stonetooth and the Night Raven's Wing.
XP
High-DEX Warriors, even with these weapons, still lose out! But at least with these sorts of things out, we know that Nexon cares a SMIDGE about us.

new weapons are always cool. As long they can be found easily. dragon weapons (warrior ones) aren't seen much since it's hard to have the guts to 30% it. If they were a bit easier to obtain, maybe you would see more around. or that just made me thinking about dropping already released weapons, but with 2 places to get it, it'll maybe drop in price?

Dexless and normal dex builds will never completely balance out, otherwise there'd be no reason to go dexless and nobody would gach for the dexless items. Dexless/low dex builds will always be a bit better probably.

Dragon weapons period should remain rare, the only ones oyu see a lot of are the ones that arent in massive demand so they dont sell a lot, but really good high end weapons should be a rarity in my opinion, timeless weapons should be rare too. But thats just my opinion.
As for changing drops, we wont need to once maker comes out, though a small increase on dragon spirits and scales droprates would be nice, nothing major, I'd still like them to be rare, but not as rare as they currently are.

You have to realize that a level 160 weapon would have about... 20-30 more weapon attack than an equivalent level 100 weapon, depending on the weapon. That's definitely worth dumping 60 AP straight into secondary stat, and more extra secondary stat bonus is just that, extra.

The good items will probably be from the nx only pq... i doubt they do something so drastic to the economy by giving ele wands to anyone who is level 90+.
