Guess they could make this as a reason for not further expanding the Nova branches.
Also, Nexon really hates Wind Archer for a reason. I could tell which of his skills are being mixed together for this so-called 5th job skill.

I've been saying this for a while. Not just because of this, but for other reasons (no mobility with Song of Heaven, too many active buffs, Spiraling Vortex being a piece of crap, Trifling Wind being glitchy as hell, and some other things I can't think of at the moment). Instead, they keep giving us extra damage to shut us up.

Kinda seems lackluster for how long the wait, considering some classes don't even get new attacks. Hero gets a summon. Mercedes apparently gets a glorified Shadow Partner. Demon Avenger gets a buff skill.....

Depends on how easy it is to "keep rolling".
Most maplers have to settle for less than perfectly scrolled, enhanced, and cubed, best-in-slot gear. We'll also have to settle for a less-than-perfect Matrix, unless Nexon is no longer Nexon.

The first patch of the V update will hit today in Korea. There's a preview video of the update.
The Hi-Five event will commence and it will contain a 5th job secret according to the video, but it aint going to be a secret now anymore.
It shows that the Core Gemstone Piece item can be obtained from the Hi-Five boxes.

Boxes means event, to kickstart this system.
We don't know how often the pieces will come from the boxes, and we don't know what sources there will be for them once the event boxes stop dropping.
My guess is that the pieces won't be super rare, but the chances of getting a "good" core from them will be like all Maple RNG items.

Hm, pretty interesting that armor can get %damage now, though %stat might be better anyway depending.... I do like the narrowing of potential lines, though, and there appears to be more that are just beneficial in general now. I don't really like the status resist system now though. It could definitely use some tweaks, assuming 999 resist means conditions are instantly dispelled.

I'm pretty sure the point of the status resistance change is so that everyone doesn't go around with max status resistance, possibly not even anywhere close.

Then why have it at all?
It makes no sense that you level up 5 Cygnus Knights to 120 just to shave one second off a 30-second status (and even that is only if they round up).
