OCTOBER FOR SMASH?! that's not summer nintendo, that's autumn.

I'm not sure what the point is with amiibo in relation to Smash...did they really say? It seemed really vague to me, but I also started watching in the middle so I might have missed something.

Edit: New Yoshi game might be a first day buy for me, it looks really good, Yoshi's Island without that screaming making me want to blow my brains out.

Edit 2: So...did they announce a NEW Zelda as well as talk about Hyrule Warriors? For some reason I thought the first part about Zelda was talking about Hyrule Warriors, but now I'm not so sure.

Man, and I recently got Bayonetta 1 for the PS3 as well. The combo package will be really nice for a lot of people.

Kinda hope they do the same thing for Xenoblade Chronicles since the Wii version is nigh impossible to get now, unless you want to shell out $50+ to get it used.

They are showing one more game through IGN but IDK if its got anything to do with Wii U.

I've 100%'d Xenoblade 4 times now, once on actual console, and let me tell you, emulating it is 1000x better. Xenoblade in 1080p with full native upscaling is the only way to play it.

Also, those figurines confirmed pay2win. You can level them and increase character stats ingame.

Wow i'm blown away. A+++++++ nintendo, well played. I thought the mii concept was dumb at first BUT WOW I'M SERIOUSLY HYPED. I did NOT expect them to take the custom movesets feature and extend it into the actual roster.

That splatoon game is BRILLIANT.

I was thinking this before the direct but i'm probably going to be handing nintendo a s'hit ton of money this year...

Mainly due to how lackluster everyone else's presentations were, but yeah, it definitely was the best one and had some stuff that looked interesting enough that I may buy a wii-u.
