Was that it? A glimpse of the Ruby intro?

Serebii confirmed that animation was Kyogre and Groudon's abilities activating, it was a battle scene. Those are some awesome animations just for abilities.
Also pretty interesting how Kyogre was submerged under water in battle like a swimming pokemon would be, rather than floating above it. Bam. Oh, so it was a cutscene.

On the plus side, there are excellent images coming out of this.
![]() ![]() The rest of that show is bizarre, especially because I had no idea what they were saying.

Seeing one of the best series of the games come to life in 3d like that has me so excited!
Short but sweet

Spoiler
so yeah... not quite what i had in mind but fire dragon wins. if they both had abilities and whatnot it'd surely be a more interesting fight though. edit: oh, the fire dragon actually deals 37 damage, but according to the wiki he's not supposed to move, although i do remember him moving when i fought against him, hrrrrrmmmmm. so if the fight's at range 2 dhegi wins, range 3 red dragon wins, movement allowed dhegi wins , and who knows what would happen if the fire dragon had skils

CoroCoro has nothing this month either. So there's probably not going to be any real info until E3. Just great.

Eurgh. they can't get us this hyped and then not show anything for a MONTH. What are you doing Nintendo.
Hopefully there will be a Pokemon Direct or.. something.

ShinkuDragon Wrote: Neither does the fire dragon, so if you use the don't move argument, they just stand there until the end of time .Yes, the fire dragon does 37 per turn on normal because his breath has 10mt +10 str bonus +17 inate str = 37 damage a turn. Even if you ignore that dheginsea has healing skills, the fire dragon gets doubled by dheginsea with his 72-40=32*2 att per turn. So the dragon dies in 2 turns at most anyway. And if you're taking away skills, you should probably take away the fire dragons ignore defense skill (because that's part of luna in Ikes games), so he deals a grand total of zero damage to Dheginsea anyway. So back to the original point. Ike: Daww, final boss is a dragon? cute!

Lozmaster Wrote:Neither does the fire dragon, so if you use the don't move argument, they just stand there until the end of time ike had a third job and everything though and that's why everything in that game's grossly overpowered, and well i didn't take away the ignore def skill because that's part of the very attack, the same way the +10 str and whatnot are. but yea i concur, although i did mention them both not moving in my post but truth be told, the end-all-be-all, dragon and world killer is... morgan Vanguard hp 65 str 37 mag 15 skl 40 spd 37 luk 30 def 32 res 23 Morgan/swordmaster, daughter of lucina, daughter of chrom+olivia: Morgan (F) hp 80/80 str 40/45 mag 35/29 skl 47/48 spd 49/42 luk 47/42 def 32/42 res 37/36 DLC ike to the right for comparison morgan has the doublestrike advantage in this scenario, not to mention morgan has myriads of scenarios plausible for her, heck, why not dragonstone morgan just for kicks or something so yea, morgan is the ultimate unit, move aside ike.

So it seems like I wasn't the only one who was disappointed by that footage. :|
Though...as Razmos; pointed out, Kyorge was submerged in the water. Maybe other water pokemon will be like that in this game as well. That'd be neat.

Frostilyte Wrote:So it seems like I wasn't the only one who was disappointed by that footage. :| They won't be. That was almost certainly from the mid-later game section where team aqua/magma manage to release groudon/kyogre and force the weather effects on the world. There's absolutely 0 chance that was in battle.

If they allowed transport to Kanto/Johto in Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire from Hoenn I would be so happy. That's why I loved HG/SS. It had so much more to explore.

Such a drought for information (and overall hype) as of late. Here's to hoping we'll get a little more insight from when E3 hits.
