someone remind me to look at this again later, i see a few possible improvements (assuming you level units up). if you posted the typings of all your rare summoned units, that'd help judge a better team! i'm sure dowie will be willing to weigh in, as I know my suggestions will be far from perfect.

I'll start by saying that typing isn't that big of a issue until you start worrying about how to maximize your points in FH, or raid battles when they're released. Typing can also be highly situational, and the general trend (from what I can tell) in JP is A > G > L/B > O, as survivability is the highest concern.

Definitely level up Melchio. Like Dowie said, he just got a 6* update in Japan and it's pretty OP. Breaker is a decent typing. I'm currently leveling a (B) Melchio myself.

Use Lancia as a healer; (A) is the best typing for her IMO. She'll get her 6* form in global in a month or two.

Levi, even though Oracle, can essentially carry you through any normal quest in his 6* form. His leader skill will be the meta for at LEAST 4~6 more months (judging by JP).

I love using Michelle as a lead, since she gives an attack buff as well. She has high REC and low HP naturally, so (O) is a.. less than desirable typing.

Duel-GX also has an amazing 6* form just released in JP - Lord or Guardian works for him. Not sure which one is better. I'm leveling a Guardian Duel-GX because my only other option is Oracle.

Tiara - like Michelle - has innately high REC and oracle sacrifices HP she needs.

I have a breaker Falma and his DEF is a bit low for my liking - Lord is probably one of his best typings. Single target BB though. I used him for Karl.

Lodin is your best choice for a rainbow lead out of the ones you have. Lord is a good typing. The added thunder element from his BB works great for me since I typically don't have a thunder unit on any of my teams.

Eze is a pretty powerful low hit count unit. One of the few who benefits from an Oracle typing.

Loch was my first awesome, super powerful unit I had on my team for a long time, so she holds a special place in my heart <3 Her HP looks lower than normal (I have a guardian) so I'm not sure it's worth investing resources into yours since you have so many other great units to work with.

Mega and Dean are really good water units. I used a breaker Dean on my main team for a long time and have no complaints, and I've only heard positive things about Mega.

Vargas and Selena work well as Lord, but IMO they can only compete with your other units as 6* form and that can get expensive, not to mention needing a miracle totem.

I've never used a Lava, but I heard it was one of the best fire units before Cayena came out.


I personally don't like the following: Weiss, Zegar, Leore, Behemoth (I have four and all are oracle ), Heidt, Sergio, Lilith, Dilma, Shida, Lemia, Edea, Agni, Lorand, Zeln. I cannot give any advice on the viability of these as I have had no experience with them.

Rounds were:
1) Rantoul & friends
2) Nemia + oboro + someone else
3) Melchio + 4 angels
4) Vargas (surprisingly good points, lots of spark + ele weakness)
5) Selena + Eze + Lance + Vargas

Mega is a unit that is a glass cannon similar build to Alice and Alice can't survive pomegranate so thats out till 6*.

Eze is not usable till 6* as an oracle and a bonus to squat is still squat anyone who has played maple knows this Eze is just like mag in the fact that his rec is so low buff to it are not worth it and touching it for anima is risky.

Melchio can work as a replacement for the twins or the new water unit with an added bonus of adding light atk.

Lorand is also a glass cannon.

Edea and Lemia can poison and poison is always nice(and apparently karl can be poisoned)

Lava's main problem is that she is a pain to spark with you have to wait after atking with her.

Finally got him. This time he wasn't a peach and didn't verdant a person with crits over and over. raid bolt and dancer fell right at the end.
Never could injure him qq. Yes loch is a guy. It even makes references to edea, his lover when upgrading.

Also looked at unit guide again. There is a button to see their evolution and text. Plus you can resize the image and move it. Pretty neat.

F'uck this game. I had enough for a single gem to get 3 Totems (Light, Light, Water) at once. And it won't let me buy it from the buy gem screen after dying. What the actual f'uck.

Went to bed ranked ~210, woke up at 600+. Used the two orbs I had + 3 from a gem to get back to ~300. Showered and ate breakfast (like half an hour)... was back to rank ~510. Used another gem to get back to ~350. Was dropping ~5-10 ranks every time I refreshed lmao. Had to use another gem just to keep my rank steady. Currently says I'm rank 380 -- Lugina, here I come!

Im still missing zelband so I can use my dark team at thunder areas and get ele weakness

Went from Lord to Guardian. Im quite pleased by this actually.
