How was your day today? - DotA 2 Edition

2 wins 3 lost with you guys.
Then a couple of bot matches and RARE HELM FOR DK <3

Had to play with 2 friends and their 2 super new friends:

And i had to PICK a hero to win, i knew this from the beginning.
Which made me realize i don't even know why i always random anymore, i began randoming 24/7 to get used to all heroes in dota2 just like how i did it to get used to all heroes in dota1.
So i think i'm back to picking more, also going to use http://dota2layout.com/ to make a layout where the heroes i'm going to pick in pubs are together, the heroes i'll never pick are together and the "Maybe pool is in the middle".

Edit: so i wrote valve about my S&Y i unboxed from TI2 chests not having their TI2 description.
So... they fix my S&Y and give me an extra set that instead of having

Yesterday was an awful in every single way.
Was raining when I was coming back from my University so I got wet.
Then I lost every single match I played.
Then I got sick.
The only good thing it came out was this item, which it dropped to a friend but he gifted to me

Weaver really feels like a hero i can fall back on when games get hard and i am on a losing streak.
Always feels good to run around in the middle of a teamfight with 150 hp vs a ton of burst and still pick someone off and survive the entire fight.

Well, weaver and nature's prophet. But NP is like cheating in pubs. So few pubs know how to handle split push and global ganks. Especially when you got a spirit breaker on your team.

I do not apologize whenever I win with NP in pub games due to split pushing like a madman.

So the compendium rewards are out.
I just got 2 regular items with a special tag.
I like this solution, you get a random item based on how well you made a team but you don't get any exclusive or one-of-a-kind item outside of the tags.
And i got a cool kunkka item i didn't have and a cool QoP item i didn't have.
Am happy.


Edit: Also had some really good games today, made up for yesterday big time.

I got a pomegranatety common Invoker bracer.

Also on a 7 game loss streak. Playing worse than usual. This sucks.

Randomed her, went mid versus a Huskar. Only died twice the whole game. I actually knew what I was doing! Feels so good to win with a hero I've had great trouble using in the past. Now I just gotta replicate the results in future games. It was awesome to see that ending my killing streak game gave ~806 gold to the enemy. I'm very sure I nabbed at least 7-10 kills before I died.

I don't know now. Both screens look the same to me. I don't know if it's my computer being stupid now or if it's me going blind D: haha

UPDATE: Ok, false alarm. Mom was checking something this morning in my computer and she moved some settings by mistake. I was so pineappleing worried about my eyes.

Nice guy from the UK, pretty good player too.

I made a couple steam friends some time ago but I ended up blocking most or ignoring most of them. Out of the 6 I've added I'd only play again with 1, except I rarely see him on when I'm on. It's always nice when you find someone who's nice, because I feel it's rare.

I sucked so hard with naga siren in a match, but the reward...
I ain't even mad...

7-game win streak right now. Most recent game was a 9/2/25 Lich who was the 2nd highest leveled. Here's hoping I get an 8th one.

In other news, Deso + Assault Cuirass makes Furion too stronk a pusher. Also finally making full use of Teleport spamming the lanes.

Today was bad, only won 1 game out of 6, and now im in low priority due to losing internet twice... thanks rain!

On the bright side that game we won i randomed venomancer and went 19-5 on a slow focused build :o, I usually go support with veno but there was one already.

Finally got around to customizing my doto a bit more.
So much more pleasant with stuff like rune-spots bound to F3 and F4.

Real life is OP. I have no time left for DotA, just study, study, study and sleep. Even weekends are tiring. I'm happy with how things are but I miss playing with all of you

Same, i just started uni again.
Got very little or no time for dota during a regular day.
Wake up at 5 AM for uni, get home at 5-7 PM. Suddenly too tired for doto when you get home.

But i still have time to watch a few streams every now and then, so happy SingSing is streaming more again. Can watch VODs in the train.
