According to the hundreds of combinings I've done. I clearly am not getting any of my mobs(fairy|Canine|spirit) past their current rank(A|A+|A). I hope I'm wrong.

It is nice to see some more S creeping into the collective.

Would anyone consider using Waru in the Special Shop? Specifically, does anyone think the cost of the a Tip Top Balloon Shop and the subsequent 56 days for it to pay for itself is worth it? Besides that, the Pristine Box might be worth it if you don't mind a random S. But it's still a S! The A through SS box is too risky for me; has anyone seen a SS only box?

Last question, has anyone else observed that the minimum number of free squares necessary for your farm is (Number of Monsters Slots) + 1? If so, we can go ahead and send that information over to iAmFear's thread. Also on that note, make sure, if you are trying to fill every square that you choose your buildings before your next upgrade, unless of course you are after the level's building.

Cause I'm curious, and obscenely Waru rich (my farm has reached its final form until I level up a bunch, which I need a buttload of combinations to accomplish) I decided to carry out a very A-wasteful experiment.

9 A+ & A+ combinations with 2 bovines, 9 with a bovine and another species. Total cost 54000 waru (and also every A+ bovine except my own are now unable to be combined)

2 bovines: 2 A+ rank bovines, 6 A rank bovines, 1 C rank snail
bovine + non-bovine: 5 A rank bovines, 4 B rank non-bovines (matching type to the other A+)

Based on this I would sketch out odds along the lines of
2 the same:
miniscule percent S?
15% A+
80% A
5% something else
2 different:
10% A+ of your own kind
50% A of your own kind
6% B+ of the other kind
29% B of the other kind
5% something else

Keep in mind I'm reasoning on way too little data here.



I don't know what the cooldown condition before combining can be done again is, but when I have a chance, I'll add to these stats.

That the non-bovines were consistently 3 ranks lower than either thing being combined, for obvious reasons, makes me shy away from doing many more of those though. I'd rather get A+ results.

Anyway, added an A+ to my ranks, and leaving the last A I got, consequently.

[MENTION=5248]Chilly[/MENTION] I've only seen the C rank special box (100k), S rank box (350k?) and A+ to SS (same). I bought the C rank box, it had the Pumpkin Bat in it. As for buying other stuff... I figure eventually I'll have enough Waru going to waste that it's worthwhile. It's the only way to keep upgrading without jewels, unless the farm size things end up in the special shop.

I figured since I managed to nab an S rank, I should show off to the world!

Grrr, am I seriously the only farm with A+ pig? I want my S rank...

[MENTION=5248]Chilly[/MENTION]; IMO the aim of the Special shop is to provide an NX-less alternative to the gem-costing items, but at a very high Waru:gem ratio. Buying anything from the secret shop is extremely detrimental to your growth, like... extremely, unless you have so much money that you can afford to replace all your buildings with Big-Bowl Noodles or some 3x3 equivalent. If anything, I'd consider now till level 40 as early-mid game, and replacing all my buildings with Monster Manor and Tip-top Balloon Shop as mid-game, and then combining monsters to get SS-ranks and etc. potentials as end-game. Now though, I'm trying to hit the achievements with 10 level 10 monsters and 500k Waru, so I'm going for some of the achievements first, then deal with the growing since those don't impede growth that badly.

Confirming the (monsters + 1) empty space requirement.

Also, the Tip Top Balloon Shop takes 59.5 days to pay for itself, by my calculations, and assuming perfect harvest timing. And it's not like it will be making you thousands per hour after that. It only gives you about double a Nova Safehouse's waru production (although much better storage). And if you've managed to amass 300k waru already, that means you have a decent waru factory going anyway.
So, in my opinion, the special shop buildings only exist to mock non-nx users. Can't offer an opinion on the monster boxes, since I'm not into breeding yet and don't know what it costs, and have never seen decorative equipment or home upgrades in the special shop.

I would say these are fairly accurate from what I have seen. I dont have much waru after all the combining I have been doing the past few days, but once I get some I will try to expand upon this great idea.

Just did a quick count and this seems right, I have 16 slots and I have to keep 17 spaces open. So it seems less slots actually helps waru farmers.

Also, the special shop is worthless, everythig is way over inflated and priced. Its much cheeper to get gems if you want anything. The monster boxes are not really worthit, the S box may be cheaper than breeding an S rank if your unlucky, but the A-SS rank box has a low chance of giving an S or SS (assuming every monster rank A-SS has an equal chance, which is unlikely)

That seems right, I have to remove a 1x1 item whenever my count increases.

edit: I just fused with all three of them and got three C ranks, none dragons 15k waru down the drain
