Although despite the relation in Maplestory, in fairytales, Elves are closer to Giants than Fairies.

felt like adding someone should do this, a fully buffed wind archer has:
25% ignore def
50% damage
35% status protection/element protection
135 attack
65% critical
180% max crit
135% min crit
70% mastery
Hp+1500
40% damage reduction
Evasion +60%
+1000 wpn def/magic def
Dex + 12%
Hp+ 20%
Acc + 30%
+30 strength
+130 dex at lvl 200
This is all buffs skills/passives from 1-4th job, including the 10% damage hyper, Including the 10% status v2 link and the 100 Dex from elemental harmony in beginner skills

Okay, it officially beats Mercedes and every other classes in maple to the ground in term of the crazy buffs it gets.

...I'll go prepare some DEX equips, maybe. I mean, how bad can it get when DEX equips are dirt cheap right now and I won't lose much even if I don't return?

btw, this doesnt include the 20% damage increase you get from using pin point pierce either. Felt like since its an active attacking skill it shouldnt be included or the 20% boss damage to heaven song from hyper :/ or the -3 speed speed boost, since all hurricane type skills speed is set. THAT and the fact they get frkn horizontal dashing invic frames from using wind walk :/. I also forgot to include the movement boosts, but those are meh, they do not realy add to dps.

Doesn't matter, this basically blows everything out of the water and my first main was an Archer anyway. That means I've to kick my farming into high gear!

my first main was a 164 marksman pre big bang and sorta is still, well i have 2 lvl 16x marksmans now, since it got hacked twice, first time moving on to make a 200 paladin, then hacked again where i lost the acc for a year, then i remade one on another acc, but then nexon finally responded to my ticket after a year+ so i got my original marksman back that has been hp washed x0x, and i sorta agree with your point of view saying that bowmasters have simply been replaced and shafted for a while now. I mean at first it use to be marksman shafting, but things as of lately have been great for us. Bowmasters need to be revamped in a way they are unique + fire elemental, but still keep some of the old gameplay :/ Hate to see my marksman brother class being treated like pineapple. But if your Bowmaster spirit gets to live through your wind archer everything's all right  Also what really has me curious is when they make the 3rd adventurer bowman class, because so far the pattern with special adventurer class were the ones for adv classes without 3 job splits. Cant wait to see what its like.

They've been shafted nearly since the game began, barring a short era of sheer glory when 4th job was just out.  Since Wind Archers are wind elemental I'd love to see Bowmasters making use of fire to mob and maybe use Puppet as an aiming + luring device and deal huge DoT. Well, something like that- not like I'm too much of an expert of what would be awesome.

I just realized, if wind archers have a skill that nullify there element by 100% does that mean a new element been introduced to maplestory? I mean the only other element ever introduced was dark, and thats when evans first came out. So i think someone should be checking this. Wind element maybe a new thing, maybe monsters actually have new weakness/strength to it and Fiel just never noticed x0x
And for a bowmaster revamp, i imagine better mob fire skills, something that isnt as bad as "broiler" shot f7.... And a skill that involves making phoenix do an attack, only usuable while summoned ofc, but it be cool if we could make our summons do special active skills. Or the bird have options. Like for example, when you summon phoenix, it can use up to 3 different skills, sorta like kanna summon now that i think about it xD. But it be cool if they could do something more with the whole phoenix bond. Also add a self rezzing skill for bowmasters, because phoenix are bird that revive when they are slain. IDK, make it so when you revive from dying you gain +30% damage for 2-3 mins, and the auto revive have like 10 min cd between casts. IDK it make things more intersting.

Ultimate infero (I refuse to call it broiler shot) actually becomes pretty good after we get our hyper skills. Pheonix is also pretty good as well once it gains its related hypers.
Really what we need are better hurricane hypers because the ones WA's get for their hurricane skill blow ours out of the water. The option to move while using hurricane is nice and all, but the hyper that doubles arrow count and cuts damage ONLY helps if you are capping with hurricane, which is pretty hard to do. Then the +50 range one is pretty much useless because you are out of pheonix's range and thus loose out on that dpm.
