Pokémon X and Pokémon Y

The two legendaries make etheir an X or a Y (I'll be getting the Y looking legendary, the one that was flying).

However I wonder how the 3rd game will be like. Z? Snake-like?

Exactly like the 2d ones, but with 3d graphics overlayed? I don't see why it would lose the "feel".

I know this can be said about many Pokemon, but the Legendaries look so reductive derivative of past Legendaries, can't they think of anything else other than legendary birds or deer? Another fish would be nice, what about a ghost, robot, plant?

Also, both the X and the Y in the title looks awful.

I am insanely excited. I haven't been this excited since HG and SS were announced. It looks really great. I love all the designs so far, and I'm really excited to see the series in 3D. WAY better than I could have thought.

And an October release? My 3DS will be happy all year.

The grass and fire starters looks amazing. And finally, I've always wanted attack and hit animations. c:
If we can change how we look I will cry manly (who am I kidding) tears of joys. I want to have dark skin and an afro, that would be the best.
The colours of the legendarys remind me of XD Gale of Darkness. The red one is the colour for the letters of XD, and the other one is the colours of shadow lugia. The rainbow coloured horns also make me think/hope there will be lots of gens in this game.[/COLOR]

I accidentally woke up quarter to 4 am PST and realized the announcement just ended. I ended up raging at my iPod due to it deciding to crash every time I opened the YouTube app. Never went back to sleep either.

Gonna wait until the starter evolutions are revealed to decide which one(s) I'm getting. The Y legendary is a bit more appealing to me, but I'll probably be getting X.

dodrio can't fly at all, doesn't stop him though. and it wouldn't be hard for them to pull a zorua-zoroark with this one, zoroark looks fighting enough already.

Also, it is a very minor and stupid thing to "complain" about, but not sure how to feel about X and Y as names for the game.

I'm not too sold on the names either to be honest. They sound more like placeholders than actual names.

Thank god Grass/Poison isn't the staple of the series in terms of starters. I hope that fire starter isn't also a fighting type because that would make me facepalm. Seriously, GameFreak. If you want a Fire/Fighting pokemon, use it on a standard Pokemon, not Starter Pokemon.
