Nebulite Data
DRK Wrote:Can I ask which macro you ran? I really don't want to spend hours on end clicking on my boxes :/

Autorepeater set up so when I hold down the button, it double clicks every 0.5 seconds (instead of default mouse keys behaviour, which is to double click once if you hold down '+' on the numpad)

Takes 1 double click and 1 single click to fail to open a box, thus 1 second per box. Tried going faster but server latency on the NPC popup made it slow again.

I put my inventory so the cursor was open a stack of boxes and the "ok" button on the NPC dialog to simplify things.

Anyway, part deux: Not sure exactly how many boxes this time, but on the order of 10-20,000 and I got another 2%. I did switch to a secondary char though, it was not 2 Bs on the same char.

Have you been able to use any Nebulites on it?

Why wouldn't you?
You can potential and cube hearts, too, if you've more NX than you know what to do with.

The more interesting question is whether you can socket Evan Dragon gear, Mechanic parts, pet gear, and whatever other stuff that can't be potentialed.

Simply because there isn't a nebulite for it. "accessory" nebulites are just belt/earrings/glasses/rings/shoulder, iirc.

There are plenty of nebulites that "fits on all equipment with an empty socket", or "all equipment except weapons".

Iirc, I tried putting an Acc Neulite onto a belt, and it didnt go. I think it counts Belts as armor.

Where can I download this program?

Whoops.
Guess I should figure things like that out before I start asking questions.

Specifically you should google the concept, not what I wrote (I used a fake program name cause I didn't want to get a warning, then I got one anyway!). It's literally the top result. And just set up a key to do mouse clicks when you press it.

That one I said was 40,000 boxes? Actually more like 50000.

Yeah, I did. It came up with some random minecraft pomegranate.

I must be broken, I am not filled with self-righteous rage by people openly asking for auto-clickers on SP like I thought I'd be. Oh well.

I think an auto-clicker is the only third-party program I would accept players to use.

People blame Nexon for not allowing to hotkey boxes, so they have to find alternative ways to click. Judging by what Stereo said, it seems you still have to press something to click, and not just go bot and afk.

Yeah, if it could be assigned to keys, this would be exactly like putting it on 'Y' and then holding that down until you got what you wanted (same as putting NPC hotkey on Y and using it to get into Zakum). For that matter, the reason people used to autoclick on the Kerning PQ was because we didn't have the NPC chat hotkey, and Nexon insists on game dynamics that encourage rapid repeated clicking.

I've given it a couple more tries, it's more like 1 in 5000 I'm thinking - the catch is, you only get 1 B nebulite per day. I did around 22k on Wednesday and 28k today on my Paladin, and just got the one box, early on Thursday (got a different B on my Paladin earlier Wednesday). I've since done it on a couple other characters with "only" about an hour and a half of attempting to open the box. (contrast this to about 1 in 200 to 1 in 400 for specific C nebulites, 1/10 as frequent sounds right to me)

so, the theory i posted of only one nebulite per char is correct then.

i've been testing this myself on the side and got the same results. someone left the A/C on for 3 hours with a bunch of B-rank nebs and storage slots filled, and didn't get a second B-rank.

made a second char with the same set up, took like 15 mins for the first B-rank.

Come to think of it, I've only received one B Nebulite for each character that I've opened boxes with... and I've glitched a lot of boxes.

Nexon really knows how to buzzkill...
Seems like it'll take at least 10+ days to get "+2% All" for all of your equipment then...

Is that per character or per account?
