Boring, boring, boring. Seriously, it's a goddamn sequel and all they can throw at us is "It got colder!", old pokemon being mixed into the new pokedex, ugly character designs, absolutely no worthwhile changes whatsoever!

They made it "Colder" in the transition from Diamond/Pearl to Platinum. exciting. Here i was thinking they'd do something new.

The region didn't get colder, it was partially FROZEN, as in Beneath Ice which doesn't feel like melting.

OMG... Unova is colder? It sounds like a certain other 3rd version Pokemon game. *cough*Platinum*cough*

Whoever designed these characters (all of them shown, not just the player characters) was definitely on something when he did.

To be serious though it looks like he is wearing a wet suit under his clothes. You can see the same design at his neck under his top and on his legs.

There are shops, underwater tunnels with clear glass

Edit: There aren't going to be any new Pokemon in this game as far as I know, (Didn't research better before.) But seriously, if it were real, I would explode.

You rarely see any front art for the playable characters, except in the ''Choose gender'' screen in the beginning.

Back sprite won't bother me much either, especially since I've grown up with Pokemon. Anyone remember what back sprites back in R/B/Y looked like? They looked like vomit, and we liked it.

Don't mind the wetsuit or hair. There's been far worse designs.

Slightly changed? The entire right half of the region is frozen under an ice sheet. That's a rather large change.

Also lol expecting a groundbreaking story from B2/W2

Still going to buy this, I can't stop playing Pokemon anytime soon. I expect it to be really similar to BW but they're changing the gym leaders and mixing it up so it seems like a Gen 5.5 and that excites me. And don't hate the character art because you don't see those details in game anyway.

They did the same thing with emerald and platinum.

Maybe the characters were vacationing, and Unova was iced over in an instant, like where you find Kyurem in Black and White.
I suppose that makes their outfits more reasonable

You can also see a beach town which is kinda like Pacifidlog City from the 3rd generation

Why is it bad that they're putting old pokemon back in?

Not everyone wants to buy an old version, catch pokemon there, then play a shitty ass mini game to transfer them all one by one just to legitimately catch them all. You also need TWO DS CONSOLES TO DO THAT.

So...what typing would they be? Ice/Electric and Ice/Fire?

Or lazily dragon/ice... maybe even dragon/normal, since tri attack is normal type, but can burn, paralyze or freeze (also, the animation.)

As for the actual games... what baffles me is why a third and fourth? As if the usual "one-game-for-the-price-of-two" combined with "extra/expanded mode" games, we have yet another "one-game-for-the-price-of-two" situation. If this isn't a statement about how much they're milking the franchise, nothing is.
