As a basilmarket and Maplestory Veteran, i loled when they said southperry was old. do those players even know that most of the info that comes off basil comes off another person who either uses sites like SP/Ellin Forest etc

They could've meant the users are all old, the news is all old, that the site itself is old news / outdated.

See if you can convey that it's not very encouraging to play a high level character when hackers dc you if you ever try to do anything a high level would normally do, like go bossing. I don't think it's cool for legit players to have to make understandings with hackers in order to boss.

Something should have also been brought up, what incentive is there to play GMS? KMS you get ur content faster and less likely to get hacked/economy isnt over run by botters. JMS awesome original content/2nd in line from KMS content, EMS amazing/broken events depends on how you look at it. Atm the only "exclusive" GMS has is having 500 atk in ur gear

A lot of people are put off by the fact that JMS and KMS are in other languages, and I don't know about JMS but registering an account for KMS isn't easy. EMS sucks. :|

You're only supposed to be playing the version appropriate to your locale. The different localizations are not competing against each other.

Don't other systems have a system where you give them your phone number and they text you a unique code every time you log in?

kMS has an option to do that, U-OTP.

Ur only Supposed to play the version to ur local, just like ur only supposed to have 1 account but even nexon said themselfs they don't care about that or even acct sharing.

It doesn't however change the fact they're not competing with themselves; Whichever one you play, they're still making any money off you they're going to make. Your point failed.

Lag is a small price to pay for server stability and overall better user experience. People don't just DoS kms servers all willy-nilly, and there aren't cases of duping that I've ever heard of. Oh and we can trade nx freely without tax (lolMTS).

Right. And the whole "Nexon gets profit either way" is BS, because any global company wants to channel their profits according to the appropriate regions, and they would definitely wanna avoid GMS > KMS migration.

That being said, I am sure that the %age of users we're talking about here is basically negligible, seeing as there are multiple, complex hurdles to jump through should one wish to play KMS. It's not something that the average Maple noob could do.
