They didn't open it now because there would be much content. They did it now because it just took them long to organize everything.

Perhaps the episode 2 content could start at level 50, have the cut off at level 120, and give a fairly sexy ring instead of a fairly sexy hat like last time.

Given how lame episode 1 is i would be thoroughly disappointed if it's something else in that vein.

I'd hope for Masteria but the likelihood of that wains constantly. It's probably going to be mostly Big Bang. It would be pretty dumb to make a new area now when it's going to have to be retooled in a few months for Big Bang.
