I brought up my views on the environment before holyforest. His own views reminded of global warming extremists and I decided to follow up on my views on environmental issues with a post regarding that. It was not directed to anybody in this thread and I made sure of that before posting. If anyone's being antagonistic, it's him. The post that he directed towards me shows it clear as day. Even the post that he made prior to that came off as antagonistic.
When are you going to leave me alone, Eos? For real?

Eosian Wrote:Referring to how far "Mark's Cock" is "up Gregs ass" is most certainly deserving of a warning/infraction as a completely inappropriate and uncalled for statement per the rules of the R&R and the angry dome. There were ways to make his point that didn't involve attacking other users who weren't even related to the subject of the rant. Wouldn't the "another user" be me, actually? XD As I said there, I can see the problem, but it seemed to me like it wasn't meant to be an insult (he was parodying Greg's rant style to begin with) and both Mark and (although only after I posted about it here) Greg have posted in that thread without mentioning being offended. Again, I can see how it's considered flaming. It just seemed to me that it was a bit odd to punish him for something that offended no one.

xBTAx Wrote:...I seem to have been too oblivious to have noticed that. Makes a bit more sense now. It only seems like there is no cost and therefore no "punishment". But the fact is that once you get a warning, you are increasing the possibility of getting an infraction for the same violation. Hence if you believe that a "warning" is wrong, then you should still dispute it. Even though a direct punishment hasn't been administered yet, you've still been told that you've broken a rule when you receive that infraction. If you don't believe that you've broken that rule in the post, then you should contest it because your interpretation of the rules is being challenged. Not bothering to explain yourself or trying to discuss it with a moderator will only leave you open to repeating the same "mistake". Especially since that "mistake" may have been a "misinterpretation" of the rules. To only care about things when you get slammed on or get personally involved is an exercise that you may deeply regret in the future.

I miss mods that hardly post anymore/aren't mods anymore. I think some mods now are egotistical and always have to be right.

I'm going through really tough times. I got scammed out of a $7,000 investment and my mom wants me to go to court. I'm in the middle of an onslaught as I've been screwed over by three different parties. It's so bad that I can hardly focus on my studies. I just failed a major quiz that accounts for 20% of my grade. I'm very stressed and always dealing with people angry at me over this crap. I'm taking it out on the board by being more of a jerk than usual. When this blows over, I'm probably going to be too traumatized to take anymore initiatives. My mom has made it her life mission to tell her what a loser I am, how I have no real friends in real life, and how I'm too much of a prick to find people who would like me. My mother has graciously told me that this is why I got screwed over by my roommates. She goes through misleading cycles where she states that it's okay for me to deal with getting screwed over. But then she suddenly bursts in my face and tells me to grow some balls. It's honestly annoying. The only time I have to myself is from 11pm - 9am. The rest of my life is constant hell.
My roommates who screwed me over are avoiding me and are not speaking to me. It is clear that they are conspiring together as the only response I have gotten has referred to them as a collective whole. My mom has been writing all my email responses and pretending that it's me. Simply because I just want this whole thing to be over with. I'm very stretched out on this issue as I'm angry at myself, my roommates, my mother, and the landlord. I drafted a rant on it, but it was three pages on a word document. I am pretty sure that none of you would find it entertaining. My rants are for your enjoyment. Not for mine. The situation I'm in right now cannot be painted up or simplified in a philosophical fashion. I am in such deep bullshit that it's impossible to adorn it with flowers and pretend that it's pretty or interesting. I'm being an ass because I can't scream at any of these mother fuckers. Hence you are getting a piece of my anger and are important for me to maintain my sanity.

I like how this got turned around onto Greg as if he started something by making a simple post. This forum is hillarious.

TøbiasBlack Wrote:you just gotta figure theyre just cataloging outward appearances for random people. with family and friends its nothing you dont do mentally already. It's a mixture of both their personal information and mini habits (relationship issues, people they were friends with, how they act, etc). I don't "stalk" them to the point where I find their address and litterally walk over, just enough to keep tabs to know if they're fucking with me or not. I really hate being lied to and checking my notes to when their acting strange makes things a lot easier for me because one can't really trusth their memory to that extent. @Sarah: Yeah, people find it kind of creepy, but I don't use it for personal gain physically, just to figure out who are real, and who's faking it. Edit: I really don't like Pokemon. It's just this hobby I picked up for fun in 2009. I've lost almost complete interest when Diamond and Pearl came out, and even more when I figured out about IVs, EVs, type coverage, move sets, tournaments, etc. Over time as I read articles I figured this game was getting easier. I have a lot of stats memorized under my belt so it's a pretty fun hobby from time to time. I don't play it that intensely, just a lot of easy memorizing.

I hate people who try to be fobs (I'm a little guilty of that), but I love being with real fobs who are quite open minded and love exploring things in the western world. I wish I had non-Asian friends.
