Gah, I hate how they keep on introducing newer and newer classes.
If you want money, at least make maps where only nx cashed people can enter the map for 1 month, or something...

No video of Wild Hunter with Critical so far. Maybe they get it through quests?

well assuming crit is 5 points out of 6, i'd choose crit and 110% alchemist, squeeze the most out of them apples.
but if you need the other skills for something important... go figure.
by the way - video confirms you dont get off jaguar. My question is - does +evasion means +avoid, or shadow shifter kind of sklil?

We'll really have to see how this class develops in KMST and some higher leveled gameplay videos before we start stocking up on all manner of scrolls and claiming KMS can't balance their classes.

When has Maplestory ever been about balance?

All current classes have a role to play, even if some are more valued than others. There's no single job that absolutely excels at everything and some other job that's unplayable and weak in every way. While some choices are more practical than others (pre-balance patch bishop vs archmage, hero vs paladin), there's never yet been a class that can do everything better than another. If I'm reading it right, it looks like the wild hunter might do it to the bowmaster, and I just have a hard time believing it'll be that simple.

I don't think it's that simple.
The Jaguar is HUGE, and thus greatly increases your hitbox. Archers already have lolhp and lolavoid. It's really hard to dodge damage from a panther that's 300 px wide. That's the most obvious fault I see with this class.

The way I see it from the skill tables, you don't HAVE to use your jaguar for everything. Unless I'm wrong.

THIS.
Its annoying. I actually really dislike the jaguar. Double Jump is like nerfed flash jump, and sometimes the jaguar messes up your shooting. Also the jaguar's added speed doesnt stack with speed from equips and stuff.
Currently, I am spending most of my time NOT using it.

why not be on the jaguar? You can attack on it; it can attack (at the same time?); jaguar gives + extra stats boost and mobility and it doesn't seem to die. The only downside is the fact you get hit by every damned thing in the map.

Well in first job, the only jaguar skill you have is double jump which wastes mp for a measly little push, plus it has a cooldown.
Also sometimes you'll miss monsters that you could easily hit if you werent on the jaguar.

Though I agree with you about the first job jaguar, I could see this becoming less and less of a problem in later levels, as the monsters (for the most part) get larger and larger, meaning the hitboxes would be less awkward while aiming off the jag.

Echoing other sentiments: a superpowered Crossbow class with Hurricane and an ultimate seems great, but everything we've seen of the jaguar, so far, raises flags regarding true evasion, attacking ability, mobility, etc. Like I said in the other thread, speculation is always wonderful, but it's difficult to pass judgment on a class until you see how it plays out in future developments (see: Evan class. May still suck, but it doesn't suck as much as it did when these kinds of threads were all we knew about it).

Yeah, it would really only be problem early level it seems...This class is okay but I expecedto do a little better on the crossbow class.

Imagine doing Pianus while riding on a Jaguar for the damage. Yeahhhhhh you're gonna get boomed. As if it wasn't already cramped enough.

Dodging attacks wouldn't be much trouble at 4th job with that HP skill. <.<

Maybe I missed it, but it doesn't seem like the Wild Hunter has an AR/AE type of attack.

I think it's the 4th job sonic boom thing.
