The loud chirping of birds pierced her ears, slowly, she opened her eyes. She tilts her head back and forth, but her blurry vision prevented her from seeing Sieryu. Sieryu stood against the wall next to her bed, with his arms crossed, head down, and eyes closed. Mimoto looked up and blinked at the sight of bright lights, she covered her head inside her blanket and groaned. It’s currently morning, the sounds of birds chirping marked the start of a new day. The leaves rustled violently, the wild winds violently howled continuously. Sieryu woke up, he opened his eyes and walks towards the windows. Looking down, he stared at the grass and noticed mildew. He smiled and stares as a small drip of mildew slowly descends upon a small piece of grass, splattering onto the cold damp ground. He puts his right hand over the top of his head and starts scratching it. Diligently, he took silent footsteps towards the sleeping Mimoto.

“She’s like a princess..”, Sieryu smiled. He fixes her blanket and covers her with another blanket from another bed to warm up her body. Mimoto, feeling disturbed, woke up again. She turns her head towards Sieryu, and looks at him.

“You!”, she screamed. An enraged-look was evident on her face, she struggles to get out of bed, however..

“Don’t bother. I tied you with a special spirit-energy rope. You’re not going to get that off.”, he shrugs and walks over to a desk. He then began making coffee.

“What the f-“, she struggled to get this rope off of her. She looks around her body, and noticed she is now clothed. She tries to search for this ‘rope’, but could not find it.

“What rope? Something’s binding my body, but I can’t see it. What the hell?”, she grunted and starts screaming violently, raising her head and jumping off her bed.

“You see, like I said before. It’s a rope made out of spirit-energy. It’s my own energy, and I can control it by whim. I tied it around you last night after that one girl properly bathed you and dressed you. Just in case you panicked and tried to kill me, like you did last night. That was unnecessary. You’re extremely reckless. Are you always like that?”, he picks up a small cup of coffee, using his right hand’s pinkie and hooking it onto the handle of the glass cup. He sips it, and smiles at Mimoto. Slowly, he walks over to her and sits down onto her bed. Mimoto’s face turned red, and without hesitation, attempted to head-butt him, charging head-forward at his chest.

Sieryu closes his eyes, and enjoys taking his time taunting the little Mimoto. With his left hand’s pinkie, he raised it upwards and intercepted her head-butt. Mimoto looked up, and Sieryu winked at her. “You fuck!”, she roared.

Suddenly, Aurora opened the door and walked in the room. In her right hand was a bag filled with hamburgers, donuts, and sandwiches. She slowly walks towards both Mimoto and Sieryu, and starts twitching at the sight of those two fighting.

Sieryu turns his face towards Aurora, and noticed she returned with food. His eyes sparkled, with stars covering his pupils. He stared at her breasts, and then aimed his vision towards the bag of food, then back at Aurora’s breasts again.

“ . . . . . . “, both Mimoto and Aurora paused and glared at him. Aurora walks over and slams Sieryu’s head with her right hook. “Pervert.”, she replied. Sieryu starts rubbing the top of his head, and a tear-drop came out of his right eye. “That hurt~ Really.”, he sighed.

Moments later, Mimoto was sitting on her bed, constantly observing Sieryu’s movements. Aurora was sitting beside Mimoto, and watches as Sieryu stuffs his mouth with food. “Om nom.. oh man.. where’d you get all of this? I wish they had stuff like this in the East! I’m used to eating royalty food, and even though this isn’t prepared by one of the best chefs or anything, it’s so delicious!”, he reaches in the bag with his right hand, and picks up a loaf of bread. With haste, he shoves it in his mouth.

“Disgusting.”, Mimoto scoffed at the sight of Sieryu eating. Aurora continues to observe Sieryu. “Are you done? You know, me and Mimoto has to eat too. Secondly, you still need to explain everything from last night, immediately. I don’t care who you are, I’ll gladly annihilate you, right now.”, she glares at Sieryu.

Sieryu picks up a hamburger, and in the middle of stuffing it in his mouth, he aimed his attention at Aurora and Mimoto. “B.. y.. see, I amf really fr..m”, Sieryu’s voice was muffled up due to having food in his mouth.

“Eat before you talk. Disgusting! Goddamn.”, Mimoto yells.

Sieryu quickly eats the hamburger, and begins explaining. He crosses his arms, and quickly coughs. “Uh-hum. Alright, Aurora and Mimoto. I suppose there should be an explanation. I figured it was best if Mimoto had rest before I tell both of you this, which was why I decided to wait until now.”, Sieryu looks outside the window and notices a Blue Jay landing onto the branch of a tree. He smiles and turns back at Mimoto, gazing at her eyes.

“You see, I’m from the East. My name is Fujin, overlord of East Japan. Truth be told, if I didn’t trust either of you, I wouldn’t be telling you this. Secondly, Mimoto, the fact that you attacked me all of a sudden yesterday means you either have a grudge against me, or you thought I was someone else.”, he calmly expresses his concern through words, and smiles at Mimoto.

“…. I guess I mistook you for your brother. Fukurokuju.”, she looks down at the corner of her bed, and scoffs.

“No worries, aha. I’ll explain everything, right away. I’m travelling towards West Japan, trying to talk some sense into my brother. Ever since we were kids, our father, the original Overlord, had a wife, who then gave birth to two of use. He named the older child, Fukurokuju. The younger child, that being me, was named Fujin. My brother was always a strategic person, and has all sorts of knowledge. He’s extremely wise, cunning, and even violent. Where as I, preferred peace and neutrality. As we grew up, he called me weak for my ways of thinking. I told him I wanted a world in which people could live in harmony, treating each other as equals. He claims that there’s no such thing, and of course, only the strong survives. After years of constantly arguing, my father decided to split Japan in half. I, Sieryu, owning East, where as my brother controls the West. Shinto was the border between the two, of course.”, he exclaimed.

“Wait, when was this? How come I don’t remember any of this? Who was the original Overlord?”, Mimoto asked.

“This was a..while ago. The original Overlord died due to old age, even an overlord cannot escape death. We are not Gods, we are just extremely powerful demons with what seems to be god-like tier powers. Most people assumes I’m a God, I am not. I am just more powerful than the traditional demon, granted, I have as much strength as my brother, but we have different abilities.”, he yawns.

“I see. Let me ask you this, how do you intend to stop this…?”, Aurora walks over to the table and picks up her rifle, then walks back to the bed.

“…I’m not sure, I’ll try to reason with him. If this doesn’t go well.. I’ll have no choice but to kill him. Even if he is my brother, he’s not thinking straight. Thing is, he wants to control all of Japan, and kill off the weak. Not only that, but he wants to kill me and take my elemental-powers for himself. A while back, he sent his troops to Shinto. There was a violent battle, and many people died because of it. I sent my troops over to Shinto, trying to help Shinto and it’s citizens. Of course, the renegade thought I wanted to try to control Shinto, so they warned me to stay out of it. I refused, and told my troops to step in. The renegade was known by the name of Omega, and…”, Sieryu was suddenly interrupted.

“..My.. parents..”, Mimoto’s eyes started watering, tears were shed as she ducks her head downwards. Drops of tear soaked the carpet, all Sieryu could do was watch.

“..Of course, all of the renegade members died. After many weeks of constant warfare, my troops as well as my brother’s retreated. Not wanting to involve my people in the war, many years later, I stepped down as king of East Japan. I told my advisors to replace me with someone, a clone, actually. So now the people of my kingdom assumes I’m still there, thought in actuality, I’ve been travelling by feet. Here I am today, at Shinto. I do not wish to involve innocent lives in this war, this is the war to end all wars. I will be the one to stop my brother, but I know his troops are indeed formidable foes. I cannot stop his army as well as him, which is why I came to Shinto, looking for allies. Are you guys with me?”, he reached out his right hand, staring at Mimoto and then at Aurora. With a wink, he broke off the invisible spirit-rope that binded Mimoto's body.

Mimoto stops crying, and shook his hand. Clenching onto it tightly, she raises her head up and stares at his eyes. “I’ll avenge my parents. I’ll .. do it.”, Mimoto wipes the tear off of her eyes and smiles at Sieryu. Sieryu smiles back in response, and said “Happy to hear that!”. He glances back at Aurora.

CoB won't be continuing for the time being, so I'll sorta work on the flow of the upcoming post and controlling Aurora a bit. Sorta have an idea, hoping it might work.

Silence had struck the room, as soon as Sieryu glanced at Aurora asking for help. Aurora gazed at his eyes, and walked towards the door to go out of the room. She made a sudden stop, and turned her head towards Mimoto. “I have things I need to do. I don’t know if I want to involve myself in dilemmas like this. I don’t know when I’ll return, I hope you’ll get to see Tobias soon too.”, Aurora sighed.

“Eh?! Why so sudden? What’s wrong?”, Mimoto walked over to Aurora, her right hand reaching for Aurora. Aurora scoffed, clenching tightly onto her rifle on her right hand. She walked out of the room, with no reasons as to why she has to make such a sudden exit.

“Strange girl.”, Sieryu thought. “By the way, Mimoto. I’ve seen how you fought me earlier. Would you like me to teach you something entirely new? Let’s spar, in the forest. Meet me there around noon. I’ll be waiting.., cutie.”, he winked at her and suddenly vanished like thin air.

“ . . !”

Many hours after this event, the sky became gloomy grey. The beautiful azure sky was no more ; only a lifeless dark void from above. Rain slowly descends, splattering across the cold ground. Mimoto changed her outer garment completely, wearing something more suitable for combat. Her hair tied into a delicate ponytail by a magenta-colored ribbon, smooth and ravishing. Her outer garment consisted of a tight black latex sports-bra, along with tight black latex athletic shorts. Covering the soles of her feet were wooden sandals, with a brown strap on top. She graced the rain with her enchanting beauty, as the drops of rain delicately seeped into her hair, and slowly drips off.

As she continues up the slippery and damp hills towards the forest, she noticed it was harder to grip onto the surfaces. She grunted, and still determined to meet Sieryu. After reaching a shrine at the middle of the forest, she fell on her knees and started panting.

Sieryu appeared out of nowhere, in front of her. He kneeled on his right knee, and with his gentle left hand, touched her chin. He slowly raised it, then glanced at the beauty within Mimoto’s dark and cold eyes. “Such beauty, and yet, so cold. Alright, here comes the test. If you can land a hit on me, whether it’s be a punch, a cut, or whatever on either sides of my face, I’ll teach you a technique. If you fail, I’ll demolish you. With one punch.”, he winked.

Feeling up to the challenge, Mimoto focused her vision towards Sieryu. She nodded, showing her acceptance to his ordeal. Using her left foot, she catapulted her entire body at Sieryu from several feet away. He smiles at her, and threw a sword at her, the tip of the blade aiming at her face. With haste, she ducked down in the nick of time. She glanced over at the hilt of the sword, and grabbed it with her right hand as was about to flew past her. With ease, she leaped upwards, tightly clenching onto the hilt of the sword. As she descended towards Sieryu, she attempted to slash vertically at him.

“Heh. Smart.”, he commented. With his left hand’s index and middle finger, he made an extremely thin V-shaped sign. Before the blade had struck, he caught it using those two fingers. “Caught, like a fish.”, he yawned, continuing to taunt at Mimoto. Mimoto released the sword, and descended upon the ground, she quickly aimed for his chin. She dashed in at him with all of her strength, and raised her right arm, trying to hook at his chin. Sieryu, noticing this, lunges backwards and dodges the blow. He continues to wink at Mimoto, as she attempts to pin him down.

“Cocky, aren’t you?”, she snarls.
“Party just started, babe.”, he sticks his tongue out, then proceeded onto making a fish-face at her, as if he wanted to kiss her. Irritated by his action, she head-butted him against his chest.

“You hit my chest, not my face. Uh-uh-uh~”, Sieryu laughs as he slides across the floor.

“…This is far from over. I’ll wipe that smirk off your damn face!”, Mimoto shook her right fist.

So spunky. Changed how I typed a bit, trying to type like how I did many years ago. Hoping this'll bring back some inspiration for myself..

Edit ; Major inspiration from Shana (Shakugan no Shana), because I wanted a character that was head-strong, reckless, yet gentle on the inside. Sieryu on the other hand, was something I came up entirely on my own. I did thought of Hiei, and then "Tiger of the Wind" from Monster Rancher at first though. Awkward mix.

“You’ll wipe that smirk off my face? Really? Do try. I’d like to see this.”, Sieryu raised his right hand, and slowly levitated the sword towards Mimoto. She scoffed at Sieryu, then proceeds to pick up the floating sword.

“How is he capable of using fire, water, and wind? In the previous battle, he controlled the fire and attempted to use it against me. He demonstrated his knowledge of the water elemental, and formed a giant ball of water. Now he’s levitating that sword with pure air? I felt a breeze as I picked up the sword.. how is a demon capable of using so many different types of elements? It’s not possible. I’ve never fought someone with so many advantages.”, Mimoto though as she lunges straight in at Sieryu, aiming at his face with the tip of her sword. Tightly clenching onto the hilt, she thrusted it as hard as she could.
Noticing her fatal-error, Sieryu kicks the sword upwards with his right foot, and using his right fist, he hooked Mimoto right at her stomach. Mimoto fell on the ground on her knees, and started to vomit.

“…That’s it?”, Sieryu laughed arrogantly.

Mimoto uses this chance to strike, noticing that the sword was about to descend right near where Sieryu now stands. She glances up, and by using her innate powers, she shot flames at the blade of the sword. The tip became extremely hot, noticing this, Sieryu panicked, and aimed both his hands upwards at the sky. Using the power of wind, he attempted to push the sword away before it dives at his face.
Mimoto dashes at him from behind, and jumps on his back. Her legs wrapped against his waist, she then quickly punches his right face with a quick jab.

“Game over. As soon I noticed that you need to use your hands to control elements, I knew that as long as your hands were pre-occupied, I could use a split-second’s moment of time to attack you. You fell for it.”, she jumps off his back and started panting, with her hands on her knees, and her head facing downwards.

“Heh, I see. Smart. But let me explain something. You’re right, but also wrong at the same time. Indeed, you are correct that I need to use my hands to accumulate a certain amount of air to create ‘wind’ to push objects away. Same goes for Water, I have to accumulate a certain amount of water to make it useful and offensive. However, for flames, I can easily control that just by focusing my Chi into a certain shape. If you remembered our previous battle, the reason I could make a sword out of flames was because I molded my own Chi into the shape of a sword. Using my own life-energy, I attracted flame-particles, basically, a vacuum. The flames then attached to my own energy, thus forming a sword made out of fire. I don’t want to overly discuss about my powers, so I’ll let you figure it out over time. So, as part of your reward, I’ll teach you something.”, he exclaimed.

Sieryu walks slowly towards the adamant Mimoto, and holds her wrists. “Such divine beauty~”, he attempted at flirting with her. Mimoto blushed, and pushed him away. “Ok ok, just kidding. Anyways. The point is, you need to learn how to shape your energy. Once you do that, you no longer have to rely on weapons as much. In example, I will demonstrate how I’ll push my own energy out in the shape of an orb. I want you to try.”, he said.

Sieryu creates a small ball of energy in his right palm, it turns into a bright yellow color, and slowly expands. “See? This is life-energy. This is your own energy. Now watch as I use the rain, to make a small ball of water that I can control.”

He watches as the rain continues to pour, slowly, he accumulates rain around the energy-ball he created. The ball started to absorb and collect rain-water, and eventually became a small orb of water, continuously swirling.

“See?”, he exclaimed.

“… I see. So..”, Mimoto paused for a quick second, she clenches her right and left fist, and held them up high. A small speck of energy was seen glowing from her hands, suddenly, two energy swords came out of her hands. She combined them to make an even bigger and longer energy sword as she brings her hands in closer together.

“..Incredible. Your first try..”, Sieryu was amazed to witness such sheer brilliance. He continues to fondles over the thought of seeing Mimoto showing off such power.

“And.. then.. like..”, Mimoto pauses again, and demonstrates her demon powers. A dark black flame was released from her hands, and slowly cloaks the energy sword.

“Interesting. An energy sword made out of black flames, you sure are something. Heh..”, Sieryu smirks. Suddenly, he sensed something was approaching. Mimoto also sensed a powerful demon approaching, and turned around.

“Sorry, babe. But this isn’t my battle. I’ll watch as you fight this monstrosity.”, with his final words, Sieryu teleports away onto the top of a tree, and watches as Mimoto is about to fight against a powerful demon.

“Is it.. that Oni?!?!”, she thought to herself. She watches as a dark and menacing shadow approaches from deep within the back of the forest.

----

Not that great. Ugh. Here's a chance for someone to show off their powers, go go go Tobias! Sieryu's not going to join the battle, he'll just watch. I don't want to fight a goddamn Oni by myself either. ;~;

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The oni appeared from behind the woods, wielding a giant club, and wearing only a tiger-skin pattern loin cloth. With one swing of its massive arm, it connected with Mimoto, landing a direct hit in her chest and she was sent into the air. With it's club, the oni swung his arm forward and landed another blow, this time propelling Mimoto down the hill and crashing into the sand down by the beach. She rolled and bounced on the sand, landing with a great thud a few feet from the seafoam crashing into the shore.
Seiryu looked over at the Oni and scoffed. "That wasn't very nice you know, hitting a pretty woman." The oni looked over and let out a bolsterous shout, swinging its club, breaking the trunks of several trees in the process. Seiryu vanished into thin air as the studded club came close to him and avoided the attack. He teleported down to the shore and went over to where Mimoto was laying. "Hey, cutie, you awake?" He picked up her head and saw she was out cold.
The oni came crashing down onto the shore not too long afterwards, sliding down the hill and taking out many trees as it went. It lifted its club into the air and gripped it with both hands, its grip tight. It then came rushing forward and dropped the club down onto the sand, attempting to crush the two. Seiryu took Mimoto and teleported the two of them a few meters away to avoid its attack.
"Shit, I don't want to get involved, but unless I do something, that thing might just kill her." The oni looked around the sand, searching for Mimoto. When it caught glimpse of them, it yelled out and grunted in its own language, its eyes furious. "Jeez, I wish I knew why this oni's so violent."
Mimoto opened her eyes, and let out a pained sigh. She reached up and felt the lump on her head where she landed on the sand, and winced in pain. She then tried to get to her feet, but a severe pain in her ribs prevented her from getting to her knees. "Ugh, what the hell happened?"
"The oni over there slugged you into the air, then hit you with its club and you went flying to the shore." Seiryu grabbed her arm and helped her to her feet. Mimoto was clutching at her chest, coughing out spurts of blood and squinting her eyes intensely. "I think he might've hit a home run."
"Ugh, do you have to make those kind of jokes now?" The oni charged and dropped a clenched fist into the sand, Seiryu once again teleporting them out of harms way. "And why are you helping me?"
"Well now," Seiryu started, looking over at her, "I can't let this thing hurt such a lovely girl." He winked and smiled with a cocky grin. The oni once again looked around frantically, trying to find them. "Well, at least it seems this creature doesn't have too great a sense of sight."
Just then the oni turned its head around, and caught another glimpse of them. This time it thrust its club into the air and hoisted it above its head, hooting and hollering in grunts and shouts. It stamped its feet into the sand, sending a dust cloud into the air around it. Mimoto coughed again, more blood flying from her mouth. She collapsed to her knees, Seiryu still holding onto her.
Suddenly, the oni stopped moving, and its horn fell from the top of its head. It landed onto the sand and faded away into ashes. The oni froze, awestruck. It then let out a tremendous shout and stamped its feet and flailed its arms around wildly. Seiryu and Mimoto both looked up, watching as the demon was going into a berserk frenzy.
"You've had your fun, oni. Now, lets end this game." Suddenly, a dark hole appeared in the air in front of them, and when it collapsed and dissappeared, Tobias was standing in front of them, holding his scythe on his shoulders. His jeans were torn all over, and his shirt was now just a few strips of fabric held together loosely. His hair was wild and messy, and his feet were bare. The blade of the scythe was a pure white color, but had the stains of demon black blood on it.
He looked over at them and said "Hey, you two, you finished here?"
Seiryu looked at him and gave him an inquisitive look. "And just who are you?"
Mimoto looked up and her eyes opened wide with surprise. "Tobias! What are you doing here?"
He looked down and spat, then laughed coldly. "Tobias? That platypus aint been around for the past two days, bitch. Now if you'll excuse me, I've a meal to eat." Tobias then turned his head and casually walked towards the oni, still thrashing about on the sand.
"Hey, who the hell are you calling a bitch?!" both Mimoto and Seiryu shouted over at him.
He yelled back to them. "Just stay the fuck outta my way, got that?" He then lowered his scythe and gripped it firmly in his hands. He lowered the blade and, with a quick upward swing, slashed the air in front of him. A thin wave of energy where Tobias slashed was created and a crescent wave of white light was sent flying at the oni, cutting it in the chest.
The oni cryed out in pain and looked over and saw Tobias standing on the sand. He lowered his scythe and stood staring at the demon. The oni lifted its club into the air and charged at Tobias. It swung the heavy club over its head, then with immense force, swung it over its head and down at Tobias. He lifted his arm and suddenly a thin translucent wall appeared in front of him and blocked the club dead in its descent. He then pushed his palm forward, and the oni was sent reeling backwards, landing on the shore on its butt. The oni repeated its attack, and Tobias repeated the deflection.
This went on in various forms for a good 5 minutes, with the demon trying to swing at an angle, from a downward swing to an uppercut, and even a straight thrust; no matter what, Tobias remained still and just kept deflecting the oni's club with his wall. The oni was growing more and more furious, and with each failure its rage grew. Eventually, however, after another attack from the oni, Tobias' body sent out a small pulse of light energy after the demon fell onto the sand. He looked down at his scythe and saw the blade had changed from its pure white hue back to a silvery color. He then looked up at the oni, who had by then returned to its feet, and grit his teeth.
Suddenly, the oni jumped into the air and hoisted the club high over its head. Tobias looked up and glared. "I don't have time to waste on your fuckin' ass, oni." Tobias lowered his arm and a black hole appeared underneath of his feet. As the oni came crashing into the sand, Tobias fell through the hole, and part of the oni's club was sucked into the void. When the hole vanished, the oni's club was stuck in the sand, and when the oni pulled it out, it looked as if a good portion of it had simply vanished. Another hole appeared in the air behind the oni, and Tobias came falling out of it, and with a single thrust, he severed the head of the oni, the blade cutting effortlessly through its spine.
The oni's head rolled off of its neck, and the body slowly slumped into the sand with a loud thud. Tobias landed on the back of the oni and glared down at its corpse, and a dark grin streaked across his face. With a quick thrust, he plunged his right arm into the demon's back, and slowly its body started to turn black where tobias had sunk his arm into the demon's spine. A thin black ooze covered the demon entirely, and when the demon's body was completely covered with the black film, Tobias pulled his arm out of the demon's back and the black film stretched and formed tendrils which went back into Tobias' arm. As the black shape was being pulled into his arm, the shape of the oni was starting to shrink and dissappear, from what looked like the outline of its body covered with the darkness, to just a lump of black stuff lying on the beach, being absorbed back into its owners body.
Okay... short entry. Set-up for someone else to take over.
Tobias stood on the stand, scythe held firmly in his grasp, looking down at the sand where the oni once laid. He had slain it and absorbed its being into him, taking with it the power that it had and making it his own. He looked over at the shore and saw Mimoto and an unknown man kneeling, him supporting a very bruised and wounded Mimoto. She looked at him with awe and surprise, and the man looked on in curiousity, a strong demonic aura eminating from him.
Tobias turned around and started walking towards them. His head was lowered to hide his face from them, hiding the sinister smile that started to grow across his face. He lifted his scythe and took it into both of his hands, readying to attack the mysterious man. Mimoto, with the aid of the stranger, rose to her feet and spoke with a tone of surprise.
"T-T-Tobias, what was that, was that your power?" She was leaning on the man, limping and holding onto her side. "I've never seen anything like that, just what was that?"
Tobias stopped walking and raised his scythe, propping it on his shoulders and standing at a ready stance. His head was still lowered, hiding the growing smile on his face. His body started to send out faint wisps of energy from across his arms and along the shaft of the scythe. He lifted his left arm and opened his hand, his palm exposed and facing the two of them.
"That power is known as the All Consumption. It is the ultimate weapon of destruction," he said, his voice very deep and coarse. Suddenly, lifted his head, his eyes redened with bloodlust and his grin sadistically happy. "NOW YOU SHALL BE THE NEXT ONES TO DIE!"
Suddenly, a cloud of sand and dust erupted from behind them as the ground was shaken with a great force. The three were set off balance and fell into the sand, and as the cloud settled, another oni stood, this one with two horns and a red tiger-print loin cloth. He was smaller than the first one, only 10 feet in height, and was less muscled, but he gave off a more powerful aura than the last. He exhaled heavily and loudly, then let out a loud roar.
"YOU, BOY WITH SCYTHE, YOU KILL MY BROTHER; NOW I KILL YOU!" The oni raised its hand and threw a punch forwards, aiming at Tobias. Immediately He raised his arm and created a wall of light to block the oni's punch.
The instant his arm made contact with the wall, Tobias' arm gave off a small pulse of light, which caused him to wince in pain. He then drew his arm back slightly and then thrust it forward, sending the wall colliding with the oni and pushing it backwards into the sand. Once again his arm gave off a small burst of energy, this time Tobias flinched and fell to his knees.
Mimoto looked up, still hanging onto the mysterious man. "Tobias," she started in reaction to seeing this, "what's wrong, are you hurt?"
Tobias looked over, a tear falling down his left eye and his teeth grit tensely. "I went too far."
"What do you mean?"
"Listen, I don't have time to expla--." He ended his sentence abruptly as he saw the oni rise to its feet and start to charge at them once more. Again Tobias arched his arm back and, with his hand open and fingers spread wide, he pushed forward with his arm, creating another wall of light that was sent forward into the oni, pushing it further backwards than the last wall. This time, however, Tobias' entire body sent out a burst of light, and he let out a cough and collapsed onto his hands and knees onto the sand. Mimoto ran over and put her arms on his shoulder, her face now expressing worry.
"Tobias, what's going on?"
"I said I'd explain later you airhead bitch," he shouted back at her, "first we have to find a way to deal with this oni. Unfortunately, I can't fight anymore."
"Why not?!" As she said this, the oni once again rose to its feet, and let out a loud roar.
"I WILL KILL YOU BOY!!"
Few things to bring up- yes: the moonwalk did what it was used for in the Moonwalker game: it could basically "hover" over obstacles and go against the direction of a conveyor belt. Here, I used as a way for him avoid the shock of the bridge. Also, I forgot to mention it, but Michael projected his own electricity out of his body. Also, in the prior post, I copypasta'd the ending of my prior post.
Also: expect a follow up to Tobias's post from me tomorrow.
Signaled by a beep, the elevator doors opened up and ahead of them lay a checker boarded floor of marble and on the walls, dimly lit candles on golden candlesticks mounted on the walls lined the way with paintings here and there. The flames of the candles were low and flickered. The nastiness of the odor on the floor they had been on seemed to have vanished; and instead, the smell of disinfectant, smoke, and chemicals permeated the air. The paintings gave off a foul mood that put Michael in horror. On one; colors splattered everywhere on them; bright and flashy, seemingly painted frantically; it seemed that a madman had painted these. When Michael look to his write, he saw a painting of a frail woman who appeared malnourished and eyes sagging who was kissing a skeleton as she embraced it. The hallways had this odd way of reverberating every sound; Michael could hear his own and Sawako's footsteps.
Suddenly, the sound of people talking became closer and closer; and suddenly, Michael reached an ornate door to his left.
"There was quite a commotion in the school according to the chief."
"Oh?"
"We acquired more resources thanks to this. We gathered a weak demon thanks to the Dark Fang, and an idiot student all thanks to Aurora the Sniper. We've picked out only the best organs from their body to construct the Titan upstairs, and the rest are made to create new demons. And don't worry- neither of the two responsible for bringing them these two demons are remotely a threat to our operations."
There was an awkward silence as the sound of someone sipping hot tea filled the halls. Empty silence returned briefly. Someone slurped their noodles loudly. Michael silently groaned. Didn’t they know it was uncultured and rude to slurp soup? Of course, some people think that it’s well mannered and shows you enjoy the food but…
Michael let out a sigh.
“Speaking of Mimoto and Aurora, quite some commotion arose when Aurora killed a morpher by the name of Zuzazu."
"Goddamn kids," thought Michael. "They had to take away my rent money, didn't they?"
"We had our eyes on him as a suspected morpher, but we didn’t want any student suspicion to arise of human and demon trafficking going on inside of the school itself. Not that it’d really matter, but it’s a good precaution. Our policy is to capture humans and demons who are more dead than alive for that reason. It’s a pity, but she left us absolutely nothing to work with and we’re very, very disappointed.”
The sound of licking around lips could be heard and was followed by a sadistic, hysterical long laughter that echoed through the empty hall. Silence returned as the laughter faded away and a quieter sinister, menacing voice replaced it.
“Mmmmm… …I’ll be sure that if she ever comes crawling under our hands… I’ll be sure that she pays...” The man let his last word hang over an airy silence. “…WITH RESOURCES OF HER OWN!” he shrieked. Maniacal, frenzied laughter returned as his mind filled with all sorts of arousing, stimulating thoughts. “Yes…I see it quite clearly!” he cried in a loud triumphant voice.
“But: I have a better idea in store for her compared to you guys. It’s an honest waste of a fine body if we used it on the Titan, and it’s not high grade enough material for what’s being made downstairs. Instead, she’ll become my lovely pet- and don’t worry, I’ll be nice. I can see it now… her body- tangled and suspended by chains with her arms and legs… FEEBLE and POWERLESS… her light hazel eyes…SUBSERVIENT, SUBDUED, TAMED, AND EMPTY… and best of all: that TENDER mouth of hers… weak and tamed to accept ANYTHING I ask of her. Nothing comes out of her mouth except SWEET, MELLIFLUOUS MOANS that are chamber music throughout the night as her and myself share nothing but raw passion at its most primal state. And I…”
A hard slap echoed throughout the hall. “Get a grip, Dr. Planck,” the other voice in the room said- a female with a cold, assertive voice. “Listen- you may be the new upstart who rose through the rank; but don’t get cocky. I and your other superiors have the jurisdiction on what to do with each of the candidates that we’ve learned through the scouts reports back to the boss.”
“That must be the principal that she’s talking about...” thought Michael, recalling the deranged woman chasing after them.
“Ah- you’re new. I forgot I hadn’t explained this to you. When we first began creating our mechanically modified demons, the stronger ones would develop an intelligent consciousness. We felt that education to indoctrinate them into forming an army lead by our forces would be enough. We were so horribly wrong. You see, in that very same position you have right now as head researcher, a man by the name of Masahiko Ōgai had an elaborate scheme to take some of our most classified projects and run. These projects were only accessible by someone in his position. He filled the minds of our very first A rank demons and our first S rank demon with the idea of freedom and the right to live their lives the way they wanted to; and promised them with that if they’d help him embezzle the goods and run, they could escape too. The results were disastrous. Him and the A ranks broke free; and as for the S rank, we successfully stopped it in the same cavern as the Titan. We have since dubbed it “Prometheus”. Now, of course, that isn’t to say the demon education program wasn’t successful- and here’s where our scouts kick in. They’ve developed enough to fill in the role of a convincing teacher who would go unnoticed thanks to having a personality and would go undetected thanks to a program built into their machinery. These demons are most around B rank, and they are obedient to the point where they are convinced their entire life is acting as school staff without any real purpose in mind as well as serving as guards of the first floor of our facility- and without knowing why. They just do what they are told, but have no idea of for who and why- as we fear they might rebel if they had such knowledge. In their hours as school staff, they have to report all that goes on with the students and classes. Thanks to this, we successfully monitor their development and progress to see if they are an asset to us or a thread or unnecessary. We fear that this might fail too, but the odds of that are low. Either way, we’re not taking any more chances, and so- the rest of the army we’ve been building have now all been programmed to obey our orders only.”
“Well, it was a pleasant lunch. See you later, Ryoko,” said Dr. Planck.
“Who said you could address me by my first name, bud?” growled Ryoko.
The sound of seats being moved properly back into place was heard.
“pomegranate,” thought Michael. He grabbed on to Sawako’s hand as the two of them ran to the end of the hallway marked by a similar ornate door.
Michael twisted it rapidly, and ran through. Inside, countless glass tubes with labels of ranks everywhere. As Michael looked left and right as he ran onward, he read off ranks one by one. A, A, A+, S-, A-, A, A-. “What the hell is going on in here?” thought Michael as he gritted his teeth. Sawako’s eyes were closed as all she could do was follow them. “Eliminate them!” cried a familiar voice that was neither Planck or Ryoko.
Michael and Sawako could hear the door slam, and realize there's nowhere left to run. Vapor and steam emerged as blue fluids leaked on to the floor. Demons took a step out of their glass containers and let wet, heavy feet dig their feet into the cold, metallic texture of the floor. Suddenly, they began to teleport left and right. Michael ran with all the strength he could muster in his legs down the long hallway. Suddenly, a demon ahead of him appeared to disintegrate into ash and ash began to float ahead of him. Michael ran on and on, trying to run past it as fast as it could. Suddenly, he felt it brush against his neck; and suddenly, it condensed into a dark, cold, and clammy hand and reached at his neck. As Michael felt it’s touch, it seemed to drain every single degree of heat from his body and with the hopelessness situation going on, Michael began to wonder if he would ever be able to ever see the sun’s radiant beams shining down on life. Suddenly, Michael was stabbed in the chest. His head began to spin as he began gasping for breath, but even breathing was difficult. Michael closed his eyes, and everything turned into pitch black darkness.
Michael hoped it was just imagination. Suddenly, Michael was swept away into another scene in another time as the whole world seemed to turn still as Michael’s heart slowly beated. In front of Michael, wide open meadows in Shinto Central Park were visible. At the center of the meadows, there stands a line of old poplars by a stream. They were visible from a great distance, and although they grew on one bank only, Michael recalled that he and all of the other children called them the poplar avenue. On the opposite end, blooming sakura trees lined the edge of the river. The melody of the wind in the poplars held his fancy always, and the rustling of leaves seemed calming. Pink petals danced, guided by the wind as if it were a hand leading it in a graceful ballroom dance. On the bank of the stream, Michael saw himself letting his feet hang in the bright, swift waters and letting his feet flow along with the gentle push of the water going against his feet. And Michael saw it: a beautiful girl in a kimono smiling as they drank tea together under a kimono as he smiled back. “Annie…” thought Michael. The image of those days still made his troubled, clouded heart pause in its beating.
Suddenly, Michael thought to himself- perhaps he should continue to live on, to avenge Annie. “I can’t afford to let this all end here!” he thought as he gripped down hard on his teeth. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a smoke grenade. Michael pulled the pin with immense floor as he tossed it against the floor underneath his feet.
Michael opened his eyes once more as he held even more tightly onto Sawako. A few demons were still chasing him. The foulest stench was in the air: the funk of aged chemicals used for preservation of the demons. Grizzly demons from every direction from their capsules: closing in to seal Michael and Sawako’s doom. And though they fought to stay alive, their body started to shiver. Michael and Sawako dashed straight into the next elevator, and the door closed shut.
With each second getting closer until they would arrive to the next floor, Michael and Sawako let their heartbeats catch up. “There was no time to calm down, I have to keep moving”;Michael thought to myself. “Michael, we’re receiving massive energy signals down there. God knows what’s going on down their,” said Speed Demon. “Well, goddamn,” thought Michael as he smiled. “Michael, are you okay?” asked Sawako. He coughed crimson red blood that splashed along the edges of his mouth and wiped it off with his hand. “Nope,” said Michael with a smile; who then proceeded to wheeze and hack a blood-filled cough onto the floor. He held closely to the metallic grip of his cold, black steel tommy gun as Sawako transformed her arm into a scythe- awaiting for whatever lies ahead. As the doors slowly opened, Michael pulled the safety pin from the hand grenade and with a swift, but gentle toss towards the outside.
An explosion engulfed the room. As the smoke settled, he and Sawako looked ahead to see a sturdy and rugged looking man obviously old in age hooked up to a network of wires sitting on an ornate golden throne as a harem of scantily clad maids stroked and kissed his bare chest exposed by his black robe and his hardened face while he stroked their smooth skin. Years of wisdom hardened and lined his face as long gray hair seemed to reach near his eyes that seemed to be apathetic and condescending; as if a dragon looking down at an ant. Even liver spots and wrinkles seemed to make him appear more so powerful. His mouth was stiff and covered with a white mustache. His body was gargantuan as its most obvious feature- dwarfing a fairly tall man like Michael. Even more prominent were his bulging muscles that seemed able to each crush Michael. His large hands seemed to be able to grab Michael’s whole face and then crush it into a bloody pulp with a simple grip.
His hand stopped petting one of the girls as he reached over for a sip from a glass of rich wine. He then placed it back and began to stroke another girl’s hair. While this was going on, Michael had been holding his gun towards the man’s face.
As Michael looked near him, a glass container much like the ones on the floor above was present; and inside, he saw a female encased who looked as if she had been sculpted by a master doll craftsman. Her eyes seemed gently chiseled and the features of her face and bare body with a gentle texture. She had long black hair that flowed throughout the blue liquid.
“Michael, I was mistaken. We have two large energy signatures. The man ahead of you is an S+ class, and whatever being lies inside of the glass… is even greater,” said Speed Demon gravely.
“I’ve finally caught up with you!” announced a voice coming from right behind them. It was the principal, who proceeded to walk right up to the man.
Alright Khoi, you wanted something to follow up; and here you go. A bit of a time skip. You know what happens in between, but I'll have to flesh that out in a future post. Actually, two time skips. You see what I mean when you read this.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The treacherous sunrise wiped away the annoying sweat drops clinging to Michael’s face as his motorcycle sped through the highway. “Goddamn kiddies stole my rent money, and I’m going to get some money if it’s the last thing I do,” thought Michael as he chomped down hard on his cigarette. Michael’s motorcycle roared as if it were singing a song throughout the landscape with the tall city skyscrapers in the rising sun vanishing as the pristine, clear color of ocean set with cliff-covered roads ahead appeared as he drove on. Each cylinder shot out cloudy, dark smog as they roared louder when Michael furiously gripped harder and harder on to the acceleration.

“Speed Demon! Status report on the two onis.”

The motorcycle suddenly prompted a screen in front of Michael. “Not so good. The students from the academy have just engaged in combat with the red oni. Blue oni is still in the clear,” said a pattern of moving lines on the screen.

“What a sick place,” thought Sawako bitterly as she held on to Michael. “Sending the students to their death by making them go through bounty heads that no student could survive for their ‘resources’ as punishment… What’s even more disturbing was that they’re constantly looking for excuses to punish their students and put them right under their sweaty palms right where they want them…” Suddenly, she embraced her savior softly as she rested her head against his firm back as his eyes looked onward and furiously towards the beach. Their new find, Bubbles the Chimp, held on to Michael’s back.

“Michael, my database informs me that red onis seem to be prone to physical attacks and have high magic resistance and with blue onis, the opposite.”

“Spare me the bull. You think I’d know this by now, yeesh.”

Suddenly, Michael saw a rather short girl with long black hair and light hazel eyes with a sniper rifle lying on her lap sitting on the edge of a cliff and immediately recognized who it was. Immediately, his motorcycle tires screeched as he turned the speeding motorcycle to a perfect stop.

“Hey,” said Michael calmly as he waved towards her.

The girl didn’t even bother to turn towards him.

“Are those your friends over yonder,” asked Michael as he let the smoke from his cigarette rise into the orange sunset as he pointed towards a distant beach with a forest nearby.

The girl nodded.

“Shouldn’t you be with them,” he said with a smile as his head turned around quizzically.

The girl acted as if she didn’t hear.

“The cold and antisocial type, eh? Well, I’ve got quite a proposition for you, Ms. Aurora,” said Michael with a smirk.

“…”
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Sawako, how're you doing with the cargo?"

"Good."

Aurora's unconscious, tied body lie on Sawako's lap, as if she were sleeping. She had this sort of look on her face that seemed at ease and gentle. Something about it seemed so peaceful. Just the thought of the young girl asleep behind him was such cold, fighter seemed to make Michael smile on the inside. Now, Michael gripped down harder on the handles of Speed Demon's motorcycle form, and the roar grew louder as a large trail of smoke followed behind Speed Demon. Michael's very passions were ablaze, as his heart raced fast as he headed onwards to the beach. Nonstop rapid thumps beat through Michael's body- anxious to arrive at the scene. With the blink of an eye, the hillcovered seaside had become the sandy beach with many large hills to the side was stretched ahead of Michael's eyes.

"Goddamn kids, I won't let them steal another bounty like they did with the demon in the academy and the red oni," Michael thought to himself.

Suddenly, a loud roar could be heard. "The blue oni," thought Michael. "I'll be right on schedule this time, just you brats wait."

Michael got closer and closer until the blue oni hit his line of vision, and as Michael approached a cliff, he gripped as hard as he possibly could. Suddenly, Speed Demon roared louder than ever and let off a trail of ink blank clouds rising up in the air as they barreled through the cliff at 500 miles per hour and launched up into the air. For a moment, they just hung and soared into the air as Michael yelled "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!". Suddenly, Mimoto along with a grown man and someone who appeared to be another student looked up at the spectacle. Suddenly, everyone all knew what to do, as Michael and Sawako leapt off the bike- as Sawako grabbed on to the body of Aurora and Bubbles the Chimp clung to Michael's face while Michael grabbed on to Liberian Girl. Mimoto, the student, and the man all ran off far to the side.

Suddenly, the bike barreled straight into the blue oni: not even strong physical resistance could overcome a force like that. "Jump on-" The blue oni was pushed back and reverted into liquid. "Switching to cryo ammo." Bubbles raised a finger and despite Michael being unable to see with the chimpanzee on it's head, he could feel it was pointing behind him. Michael turned around rapidly, with Bubbles sensing the demon was starting to form behind him.

Michael fired chilled, icy bullets into the miasma behind him; which suddenly crystallized into ice. Shells dropped out from Liberian Girl, as new bullets formed inside of Liberian Girl. Michael shot a series of bullets; forming a smiley face in the ice.

Suddenly, the oni emerged and even more enraged than before. It dug its hands in to the nearby cliff and mustered the strength to pull hard enough for the entire cliff to have come out.

"Oh boy, I wasn't expecting this," thought Michael as he chuckled. No way to escape it. The boulder would crush him if the oni lost its grip of it if Michael were to kill the oni, and if he let it hit- well, he was good as dead ninety nine times over. Michael couldn't run either, the demon- although struggling, could let the boulder to collapse on Michael without Michael being fast enough to outrun the falling cliff. "Oh boy!" was the only thing Michael could think about. "That'd be a pity- dying against this random B- demon, wouldn't it?" thought Michael. "Although I've been pretty happy lately that I've got part of my sister and I know how I can get the rest of her back, I've still got a small score to settle with Liu Haojun and the Red Dragon Syndicate to get the rest of her back- and only then am I a truly fulfilled man who can die happy; and that bastard- The All Knowing Being." Suddenly, Michael had an idea. "Switching to explosive bullets," Michael whispered.

The demon, seeing Michael's laughs and smiles, roared and began to release its grip on the boulder to drop it on Michael. Michael pulled the trigger right, aiming for the lower half of the cliff. Suddenly, it ruptured and broke into giant boulders; and the entire cliff gave way and fell on top of the demon.

"WHO'S BAD?!," yelled Michael.

"You know!" cheered Sawako.

"You know!" yelled Michael.

"You know!" cheered Speed Demon, to the side after being launched at the oni.

"You know!" yelled Michael.

"You know!" yelled Liberian Girl.

"We've been here too long, and we've got our bounty taken care of as soon as we got the kill. C'mon, let's go- I take it that these fine people have their eyes on us," said Michael.

Michael hopped on the front of Speed Demon as a motorcycle again with Bubbles hugging his back as Sawako got back on with Aurora in tow. With that, they were off.

After driving for a while, Sawako asked, "Shouldn't they have noticed about Aurora?"

"I think they might have just been so confused in the heat of the moment that they weren't sure," said Michael.

"Who was that man with them? He sure didn't look like no student," Liberian Girl inquired.

"Mimoto's sugar daddy," sneered Michael.

Everyone burst out into laughter. Suddenly, Michael approached a cathedral in the center of the city.

"Wake up, sleepyheads," Michael said in a bubbly voice as he, Sawako, and Bubbles walked inside with Speed Demon back in gun form and Liberian Girl in hand.

A few voices muttered with a sleepy vengeance.

"Ah- I forgot some of you were nocturnal- silly me," said Michael playfully.

"Don't worry- those of us who aren't nocturnal are up, Michael-kun," said a tantalizing, seductive voice from the shadows in a playful tone.

A woman in an ornate black gothic dress with a corsage of roses emerged from the shadows. Her long hair was a deep blood red; and as she walked, her hair seemed to sway. Her soft white skin seemed a tad pale, but it seemed to glisten even in the darkness; giving a certain natural luster to her skin. The black dress seemed to showcase her mature figure well: every curve of her body, the slender legs, and her chest. More prominently as a feature of her, however, was her black bat wings behind her back and protruding from her head. She let her long, sleek finger slowly run down Michael's chin as she looked him in the eye with a confident, mesmerizing look; and backed off.

She smiled at Michael for a second with her eyes shut, and turned it to the side; and as she opened her eyes, she saw him grin and laugh. "Koakuma, where is 'she'?"

"Staring at the stained glass at the alter."

Michael waved goodbye to his companions as he had personal business to take care of. "Oh, and lie Aurora down somewhere where we'll wait for her to wake up. We've got the advantage of the comfort of being on home turf, and this time- hopefully she decides to hear our proposition the whole way out. Yeesh, a personality like hers is hard to deal with. We just want her to actually listen." Michael walked up to the alter to see an expressionless android with pink hair staring outside of the stained glass.

"Hello... Annie."

I should .. hopefully be able to type up something either some time this weekend or the next weekend. Don't bet me on it though, since finals = all next week, and I have a lit-review to finish this weekend. Very nice posts, by the way, haha!

Alright, classes are almost over. I only have 2 more classes to attend to on Thursday. This Friday, along with weekend, I have no work or sh`t. I'll be able to compose a relatively decent post this time, haha. I need to get in the groove again and come up with some really creative sh`t. I think I might start a new RP soon, and I'll also be working on Shinto's RP as a side too.
