Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

It means sometime in the near future, we'll have proper replays instead of videos, streams, and 3rd party programs that only feature client-sided data. Riot already has the tech and software for replays, but they said that they wanted to avoid the issues and hassles of replays breaking every week or two due to their frequent patching. Now they have made a decision.

You can watch the matches you played again.
So if something epic happens you can fraps it and show it to people without having to have fraps running while playing.

Wont happen, they'll most likely copy S2s system of having videos from a certain time-frame and if you didnt download the replay yourself inside of the time-frame it's gone.

I did one game last night on my "now smurf" / old account as I've been wanting to try out Annie for a while now and she's a lot of fun. I like the chain stuns of R and Q, when 5x stacked, and W does a ton of damage O_o

Hopefully I get to try out Gangplank before this free week is over, he seems rather beast mid and late game.

Sounds like something you would think of. Honestly, we have our ups and downs, and I learn just as much from embarrasment as I do from success, if not more so.

I just found out yesterday that Ezreal's dance is the Haruhi dance. I wish I'd known this sooner.

Right there in the related vids there was Sion doing Russian dance.

I'm fooling around with Jungle Jax, but it's not going too well so far. =\ Blah.

Yes, the greatest discovery you make about this game after playing it for a while. /d, /l, /t, and /j are all commands you can type in. Perfect for use beginning game before minions spawn or at the victory screen to piss off your opponents

Funniest part is there was an earthquake here in the middle of the game and I had to leave the comp... Apparently nothing serious though, it started in the south and it was 7.0 Richter, must've been 5~ here.

Hate all of the free characters this week. Can't even play with real people because I suck with all of them.

I can play Ashe. I can play Shen. I just can't SWITCH BETWEEN THEM

Friday must be a bad day to play apparently. I just got out of 4 games, all were defeats due to 1-2 leavers and/or teammates being absolute morons. I'll never get IP / levels at this rate lol

Bright side, I'm doing helluva lot better as Annie than I am as Ashe. I guess probably since Annie has way more burst than Ashe.

Maybe its just me but it irks me when you have not the best of a team and the other team steam rolls you and then they say 'gg' at the end.

Might be good for them but its not mutual since we didnt manage to put up a challenge for them..

Past 2 games were like that for me.
1v4/5 or 2v4/5 doesn't really help all that much except for feeding money lol
Plus when people mark someone to kill and they attack everyone, BUT said mark, thus getting steamrolled into oblivion. Oh well, maybe tomorrow will be better.

EDIT: Yes, I know it's rather ironic that I'm talking like this when I'm still in the "newb" stages myself in terms of level and LoL experience.

Also does every champion get the "Free Week" spotlight eventually in the year or is it usually just a majority of them?
There's been a couple 3150 champs I've had my eye on for a while now, but having multiple game losses kinda puts a damper on getting to them.

All the kiddies are out of class for the weekend and spend their time ruining other people's games on LoL.

Ptff, it's not that hard to get 3150 champions. It's a frigging pain in the butt getting 6300 champions.

I sort of play saving the IP, if I find a champion I like in the free ones, I'll buy it, like I bought Fiddlesticks and like I'm buying Annie.
