The drop rate seems to be very low, because I only got a Superior Crystal and Cubic Blade from 3 runs while on 11.52x drop.

Yeah, for a boss that is intended to be fought solo, the low drop rate is to be expected. at least it isn't a waste of time if you don't get one, since you get exp, mesos, denaro AND you level up your ship. plus Cubic Blades aren't half bad for a reward.

Looks like it yeah, since it's impossible for anyone to have reached a trade route with the sea dragon yet. I was under the assumption that Grosso Polpo would drop Weapons and the other would drop armour. this shows that it isn't the case, so perhaps the other one has an increased drop rate to compensate for it being harder and requiring more trade energy.

2 Pendants within 4 days... maybe they did do something to the drop rates. :f6:

All the trade routes after Rosa include both Livyatan and Grosso Polpo, so they each have I guess, twice as many chances for you to get 160 stuff, anvils, and crafting materials.

Good point. I didn't consider that. right now at Rosa its 6 attempts per day at one boss. If Herb Town costs 20 energy or less, and you fight 2 bosses, that is 5 attempts at 2 bosses, so 10 chances to get some loot.

If this is the case, I wonder if the Herb Town trade route is the optimal one for fighting the bosses, since the ones after are going to cost more energy.

Gonna be a few more days before anyone knows, I guess.

Maybe Grosso Polpo attacks more than once at 'harder' routes.

I saw one sold in Scania's FM for 1b. Who knows how the price will change as it stabilizes?

I find it interesting that all Sweetwater items seem to have above average stats.
Looks like the server and client don't quite agree on what the base stats for these items are.
