3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton
Sarah Wrote:Well, there's no evidence of what type of world map it is yet and considering Jason wrote a piece on "overworlds" like old FF games and linked to it when he said that, I feel like that's the type of world map it has. Which could be kind of really cool. Imagine Paper Mario... WITH AN AIRSHIP!!! Hahahahaha that would be pineappleing awesome.

There is actually. There was a picture of the type of world map. It's like a NSMB map. I'll find it in a moment.

hnnngghhhhh paper mario has a fucking WORLD MAP.

Even though I aint especially interested in anything Mario, the article on world maps they linked to was a good read.

While that's kind of annoying, it has room to be good. Especially considering how many maps there appears to be. I'm sure you still have the options of going through a series of interconnected maps.
Well I guess a world map puts it more in line with more traditional Mario games. As long as each location on the map is fairy fleshed out then it might not be so bad.

So about that EX Troopers

Well once again pineapple you Capcom.
Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney has a confirmed Japanese release date of November 29th in Japan according to Famitsu.

No solid news yet on a US release I don't think.
We might finally be getting Virtual console games worth buying!

http://www.gonintendo.com/?mode=viewstory&id=185222

Granted, they only show Dr. Mario for now, which I believe was a NES classic, but the fact that they made a logo and section for it suggests it can't be too far off...

Edit: Never mind, that's what I get trusting gonintendos *brilliant* reporting. Apparently the GBA section has been online on the Nintendo AU site for a long time.
So this came out of TGS today

I like how they got the actor for Phoenix, and the actress for Maya from the movie to voice their respective roles.

EDIT: Subs are up.
I'm so hyped for PL Vs AA. If we don't get it next year, I'll be quite disappointed.
More Capcom and level 5 stuff:

Professor Layton and the Legacy of the Superb Civilization A:

Dat new Ace Attorney

I hope Apollo and/or Trucy is in it.
The 3 Layton/Ace Attorney games are all looking great.

 Some MH4 stuff

Also a look at the XL version.

I'm just going to leave this here.

Man.. Sad
Why couldn't they stick with the original formula of the first two games.. It was almost perfect.

Good night, sweet (goomba) prince. :<
New Nintendo direct, just before a almost day long eShop maintenance for Europe and JApan, and GBA games have just appeared on a new section on Nintendo Europes press site. (The games being Super Mario Ball (AKA Mario Pinball Land), Mario Golf Advance Tour and Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga )

Time to start this hype train again?

Edit: Oh, and a bunch of retail titles are getting eShop versions in japan.
 Spoiler
Not that it's ever worth buying them over the card versions >_>
I didn't see this mentioned before but Level 5 had a poll on their facebook a while back for which game people wanted to be translated, and Ace Attorney vs Professor Layton won by a landslide. It's not a confirmation, but yeah.
Some new console bundles in Japan.

NSMB2
[Image: original.jpg]

Animal Crossing.

There is also an all black model with Monster Hunter but not worth a picture. The real interesting thing about these bundles is that the games come pre-installed on the SD Card rather than being a cartridge.
pineapple EVERYTHING, PAPER MARIO HAS A GOAT ATTACK

Europe is getting that Pikachu XL and the White XL with Mario Kart on the SD Card. I'm interested to see how they price a bundle with a digital download.

Pushmo/Pullblox sequal comming to eShop called Crashmo/Fallblox

3 games from Guild01 coming to eShop

Also Ace Attorney/Layton boxart is awesome
 Extended SMTIV Trailer

In other news, Etrian Odyssey 4 confirmed for 'murrican shores.
Zero Escape: Virtue's last reward comes out on Tuesday. It's the sequel to 999: 9 hours, 9 person, 9 doors, which is a great visual novel puzzle game for DS for anyone who hasn't heard of it before.
