Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread

I have only seem the bullet stuck glitch happen in golem tower, most likely when the boss reflects my gatling and maybe styer.

Look at this crap:

Those screenshots hardly show HALF the total monsters that were in there. In the 2nd one, there was at least double that many Stickles ALIVE (rest were over to the left, which is where I ran from). I was trying to focus on the Lotus Spawn. It's impossible. I truly believe those Lotus Spawn rooms are impossible solo. I burned a ton of pots and died both times with hardly any success... He MASS spawns over and over and over. There's even NPC teammates you can get in those rooms. They die VERY fast. And this was only on Expert...

Kajiti, have you done these Lotus Spawn rooms solo or with a party? Do any quests require going in them?

I can't tell you if there's a quest involving Lotus Spawns or not (although it's extremely likely), but I can handle those rooms relatively fine on solo Expert (not tried on Master's). A key thing to remember is to kill the eggs before they hatch, and also release the prisoners so they act as bait while you go hand out some whoopass on those Spawns. I'm actually a bit surprised that you have trouble in those rooms o.O

I have little to no trouble killing the boss on Normal. You're definitely not going to like it as a mage due to close quarters.

Is there a clear cut strategy for the Golem boss? He always nearly mauls me on every single run because It's hard to keep him KB'd.

Actually not so bad now. Just beat him on Expert without any death. The first time was just so terrible because I was massively caught off guard and overwhelmed. The worst part is when that priest is resurrected. I have to get him out of the picture or he follows me around something fierce...and he's aggressive.

Very interesting quest line right now.

Trying to keep him KB'd is not the easiest thing in the world, so what I do is keep my combos short and sweet. Stay inside his ass for as much as possible (unless he does the rock spike attack) and just wail away at him.

I am not being serious at all, the preceding post was exclusively for the lulz.

There's a pretty easy method for Launchers to defeat Great He'etako by making it aggro, but unable to get to the other side of the table thing. Launchers have many stuff that can go through objects. How'd Mas take it down?

[color="#cc8899"]I just unloaded heavy weapon after heavy weapon upon it. Gatling, Flamethrower, Steyr, Gatling, Fire Pillar, Steyr, Gatling, Flamethrower, etc. The summons could barely get anywhere near me. Spaz did a lot of crowd control when they got closer.

Bullet glitch gave me the impression that the octo's hitbox got pinned to the bullet's location, and as such was able to hit me once each time we entered the room.

Hit and run is always an option. Stand a little bit under/above the horizontal line where the boss is, and use skills that will hit it. Run away if it moves, or skills on cool down. Repeat till death.

Faster way would be stand on him, and make use of the slide effect of your normal attack and some skills. Basically punch in one spot if it's being KBed, and slide to his back if he attacks. It's dangerous if you have low hp though.

I just unlocked the Chamber of Blood in Behemoth. I didn't realize there was another dungeon in there. Gonna go try it out now... Looks and sounds awesome. Love these quests so far.

AWESOME. Chamber of Blood is now my favorite dungeon. Great music, sweet scenery (inside the stomach of Behemoth), uber easy GBL zealot zombies everywhere, Marcellus is a pushover and it's great exp. I think I have a new training spot when I'm done questing. Love it. Level 36 is the bomb. More new quests keep popping up!

Oh wow... Lol, speak of the devil. There IS a Lotus Spawn related quest. You have to kill TEN of them on Master's... Dear God.

I joined a Lab King's party yesterday but had to leave at the boss because my connection with one of the members completely died. I was in a different party with the same person later and they had to leave for the same reason. I found out that he lives in Hawaii and was playing on the East channel...

Blazing Grakqarak boss is utter bs, meteors that even if you avoid hit you and she hits like a truck with her cane... what the hell...

I AM avoiding the meteor, the problem is, their tails are hitting me when i run away...

Edit: Great, lag ended, i had enough hits to finish the hit mission for that stage... a meteor lagged behind and hit me 4 times somehow...
