Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion
Double post, but oh well.

"Pic of the day. With the Super Leaf, any fighter can have ears and a tail. You can also float in the air by pressing the jump button. We're still figuring out whether you'll be able to attack with the tail..."

Kinda hoping they don't make you able to attack with the tail... I'd rather it just be a boosted means of recovery. Or maybe he's just joking around. It's hard to tell sometimes...

I wonder how this will interact with Kirby and other floaty characters...

peach double float hype.

Marth looks straight up hilarious in that picture for some reason.

I think attacking with the tail would really really get in the way for most characters. If you can attack then what aerial would they replace with it, and would that loss be equal for every character? I think not. Little mac would easily benefit FAR MORE than anyone else by having not only better recovery but an attack that doesn't completely blow and could very well just be better than the replaced aerial. Peach on the other hand would probably have a larger impact because a lot of her aerial moves are staple attacks. I guess we'll find out...

Is it because the tail is clipping through his cape?

Nah it's just the look on his face with that pose with something as silly as raccoon ears hahaha

Peach looks like she has a single wing growing out the back of her head.

Better question: Where does the tail go on characters who already have tails, like ridley charizard?

Also, if you can attack with it, it probably won't be an aerial. It's generally used as a sweeping on the ground in 3dland/world (Although the same thing can be done in the air, it's not nearly as useful).

That's...a lot of damage. Chimera is something like 300% in one hit right?

And just like that, the kid icarus stage is banned from tournaments.

It's probably worse than the ultimate chimera because that had to at least chomp you.

Ornes are one hit kills just from being touched (in KI: uprising)

I'm proposing a SSB Project M tourney right here: http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=73411

Orne wasn't in the reset bomb forest chapter in Uprising, so maybe that screenshot is from Smash Run.

this screen is amazing.

Bit weird that one of the only newish nintendo characters who'd naturally fit in is an assist trophy, but ok.

Maybe next game...

Also, a new character enters the game.

I have to ask, why are you google translating the Japanese comments when they're already written in English?
