And well my review for Episode 23 is pretty long overdue anyways. But I've had somewhat of a pretty filled day so my memory for the episode is a bit fuzzy. Maybe.
Episode 23: Pony Confidential
-I loved the starting gags. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo doing their own thing with the newspaper was cute and lol.
-That Featherweight. Such a...... lightweight. Adorkable in his own way, but still dangerously skinny. I fear a harsh breeze hitting him.
-Oh boy, Diamond Tiara is the head editor. OHBOYHEREWEGO.jpg
-Apparently screens are activated by pure percussion force. Earth Ponies DO have a form of magic!
-Dem Sweetie Belle expressions.
-Diamond Tiara really gave off a John Jonah Jameson feel in that chair. SHE NEEDS PICTURES. PICTURES OF PONIES.
-Snips and Snails after getting that gum off. Ahhh, the uneven fur pattern burns me eyes.
-Oh man, dat Rainbow Dash being deathly afraid of a manicure.
-When Gabby Gums really starts laying down the gossip, Rarity's line was the best. "I WILL DESTROY HER!" totally caught me off guard. Best line of the episode. Big Mac with Smarty Pants was lolworthy too.
-Celestia and cake. LOL.
-Oh man, the whole town pretty much shunning the CMCs.
-Although it is possibly tied with Applejack and Big Mac essentially reversing roles and Big Mac spoke a paragraph's worth of words. IT WAS AWESOME.
-Twilight and her force field. She's really getting better with her magic!
-Featherweight takes pictures of EEEEVERYTHING.
-Expected the CMCs to stick in a picture of Diamond Tiara doing something embarrassing. Was nice to see they pretty much did a public apology.
-Finally nice to see Diamond Tiara get her comeuppance and Cheerilee demotes her from head editor.
Overall, this was also a very fun episode to watch. There were loads of continuity, and was just an amusing watch. Glad to see the CMCs didn't stoop to Diamond Tiara's level. Funny how this is the 2nd time this season she's been an utter peach while Silver Spoon has come off as more sympathetic with something as simple as being the 1st to clap for Apple Bloom's grandma's story. Easy 4/5. Bumping to 4.5 if I'm feeling generous.

"As with most background ponies, Bon Bon's design and color scheme are frequently used for filler ponies in crowd scenes. For example, in Fall Weather Friends, four or five Bon Bons can be seen as the angle pans past right before the race. Another four or so can be seen in the race stampede afterward; however only one is in the actual race."
Also, Bon Bon and Lyra Heartstrings are often shipped together by the fan base, although it has been noted that their pairing was a coincidence in the show.

Oh man, I'm amused I completely forgot such funny animation errors/bugs. And yup I'm completely aware of the pairing. I find it very adorable.
*Side-note, did anyone SS-ed the Ponified emoticons? I thought I had another 23 minutes to screenie. That apparently wasn't the case. >_<

Well Episode 23 in particular kept reminding me about an episode of Hey Arnold, called the big scoop or something like that.
I mean, I know this wasn't the first cartoon plot based on gossips and that but it almost followed step by step to what a happened on that Hey Arnold episode.
Also, Hasbro is being very condenscending with their fans delivering almost every fad that the fandom generates. I mean it's cool and it's awesome they are looking at teh fandom but this could be a double-sharp knife.

As long as it stays as harmless little nods it's no problem at all. Trixie isn't even a fan creation so it's no big deal that she gets mentioned again.
No wonder I got the feeling of Gossip Girl with the open letter especially after the XOXO Gaby Gums, I mean its even GG.
For those who have the luck to have never since such a piece of crap (something I'd to see it because Mom and Bro love it) here is what I mean:

(So I guess Gossip Girl is actually three elementary school girls )
