Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread
Word on the street that the interwebz in North America is goofing up tonight. Affecting more than quite a few LoL games. Inb4 the button is pressed

And I just realized Sejuani is the sworn opposing leader of the Claw tribe that doesn't like Ashe and Tryndamere.

Still, it's almost like they mashed every Freljord champ (minus Anivia) into one with the art aspect.

In other news, Colorblind mode is getting released. They forgot to bleach out the green and red in the bottom picture though, just to see how it looks.

Gotta love when you have two late-game champs (a friend playing Ezreal, another on Ryze), have two tanks that have devastating teamfight-changing AoE ults (me on jungle Amumu, and a buddy on support Leona), and start dominating teamfights starting mid-game (and me usually getting killed every single time). Gotta love using Amumu on certain premades. Tongue1
Gah still so noob at this game -___-

I'm stuck between learning to survive and doing good to sustain the lane. So far I like tanks more because they tend to die for a reason rather than feeding and they generally live a long time.

I've played Alistar a lot because he covers both tank and support when necessary, but most of my friends (who are a miles ahead of me in terms of skill level) suggest i start with a carry because literally every single game in normal games, people will pick carries. I would like to stick to a role because that would make learning the game much easier. So I guess for the best of both worlds, I would need a tanky DPS champion. I've enjoyed played a few games with Nasus. Any other suggestions for a not-so squishy carry? And any general advice to keep me from being overly aggressive or overly passive would be great. I tend to do both those things pretty often.
double post D:
Surprise return might possibly happen.
My RL friend randomly installed LoL a couple days ago and he's been playing it for a while now. He's level 6 or 7 and wants me to play with him and help him out. Course I'll be using my alt account as it's level 5.

He told me he's taken a liking to Nasus.

Garen, Irelia.

Just watch the map too see if everyone's accounted for. If someone is missing, then you should be careful of how far you are. Also ward the river to watch for ganks.
Berzerk, wtp do you have 25k IP?

Garen seems to be your best bet. He's a tanky DPS that you're supposed to be overly aggressive on. Plus, he's cheap.

Line break would work as well. I didn't notice it either Excellent

RAGE!! Just had another treat of soloqueue extraordinaire. This jungle Twitch starts off the game doing fairly well even and then dc's at lvl 3 leaving me to fend off an Irelia and a jungler WW as top lane Lux. I wanted mid but we decided to swap cause GP wanted it so badly to win against kassadin with a lot of magic resist runes. Eventually we both reach 6 and WW just flashes in ultimates me under my turret and I'm dead. Repeat 4 times until we surrender. I queue again shrugging it off, happy that Twitch got 9 reports. I GET QUEUED WITH THE LEAVER AGAIN REALLY? THIS TIME THE FUCKER LEAVES AT LEVEL 1 ALONG WITH ANOTHER LEAVER WHO THINKS HE'S SO FUNNY BY JUST MOVING FROM TIME TO TIME. REALLY SOLOQUEUE REALLY? I was even so kind to let trolling last pick mordekaiser go mid and went as my own first pick Lux support. If you ever meet Leagueofluckers I believe that was his name... DON'T QUEUE UP WITH HIM Hothead
