Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

If the goal of the tribunal is to reform the players, then it doesn't make sense. As hard as it is to believe, some players don't realize that their behavior is of the wrong kind. But it is Riot's decision to make, and I suppose they have the data to back up their claims, since there are some people out there that will never change, or (falsely) believe they were wronged.

(Hackers don't end up in the tribunal, they just get straight-up banned.).

While it's true there are people who just won't get it, that won't change if Riot handles it in any other logical method anyway. I was pretty skeptical of the Tribunal when it was first announced, but it's proven it's worth by now I think.

Played LoL for the first time yesterday with a bunch of friends/coworkers. Should I be worried for my future?

Looking back at the situation where I was starting at blue and Derosis got ganked at top bush and starting running towards me, it was very stupid of him to do that, and I raged somewhat hard. However, now that the event past, it seems somewhat hilarious.

Also, while Riot did a good job of engineering the system and they're the ones handing out bans, ultimately it is community-driven. It may not be long until repeated uses of "GG noobs" and nothing more will result in punishment.

If they reduce the maximum amount of JiTB shaco can have out at the same time, i will become pretty happy. (Heck if they put him on the ammo system that itself would be a improvement)

1200- is easy to carry.

1300-1700 is the problem imo.

Not so sure about going as far as 1700, but definitely up to 1500.

unlike most LoL players I'm bad. I was talking about feeders and trolls.

Fought against a double-jungle troll team earlier. A Kassadin was trying to troll their Shaco by stealing all his jungle.

"GG" seems to be a rather controversial topic for how small it is, there's a lot of people with very set notions of the phrase and it's meaning. Half the people I play with use it seriously every game, as a sign of sportsmanship (like shaking hands), the other half don't bother at all and find it offensive. I get the motivations behind both sides, but I think it's something that's not so black and white, just like everything it's context that matters in the end. "GG noobs" obviously being something in the offensive category. I report people for that kind of crap every time they pull it. While only 1%-ish of players are ever punished by the tribunal, I'd like to think the players that deserve to get there, do. If somebody's a prick to me in a game and doesn't make it, I'd go with the conclusion that he was just having a bad day.

Played 3 ARAMs, and had teammates that were absolutely dumbminded. Sigh. This is just frusturating. Kills all the fun associated with ARAM games.

ARAM is most dependent on your team composition than on how idiotic your teammates are, lol.

This can happen handily if you're the only one getting the kills. Share the love sometimes people and let others get kills too! Bonus points if they're carries.

I was 2/0/3, gave 3 of the kills to our graves.

I like how my computer only freaks out during PvP games. Even after having to restart my entire computer during a game, it wouldn't let me get 20FPS+. D:
