[Update 11:05 PM Pacific] The fixes took less time than anticipated. The maintenance will now begin.

[Update 10:53 PM Pacific] The start of the maintenance will be a little delayed so we can include some additional fixes.

We will be performing a scheduled game update beginning on December 17, 2013. It will last approximately 7 hours.

Aren't the two big colossi the same person, just one is corrupted? Why do you have to go through crimsonheart to fight him? What is the story behind that?

They are different. Gollux is a big tree. Colossus is a big rock.

Oh I mean't on an individual item basis buut I think i've discovered the answer to my own question:

The higher base attack of the fafnir item allows for greater stat boosts from ee's, so if you upgraded an ee'd fafnir item to Sweetwater it would be better overall compared to a similarly ee'd emp weapon.

However transferring similarly scrolled (and un-ee'd) weapons should have the same Sweetwater equip as a result I think.

I only wanted to know this because I'm interested in getting a better weapon for my Paladin and the idea of buying and scrolling a new faffy hammer to then upgrade is sadly 2expensive4me.

So looks like the only option for me is to go emp->scroll->upgrade to sweetwater->ee

if it's any help, the best way to upgrade saltwater or whatever seems to be full scroll 1 ee the previous item, and then inmediately transform it to grab advantage of the extra w.attk of water items when enhancing.

so the difference between fafnir and empress will just be 1-2 attack on the saltwater, not worth burning a fafnir for it.

Ok, IIRC, the Sweetwater gear is Superior, correct? It kind of leaves you with a quandary. If you do your enhancement before you transform, you get lower stats. But, if you enhance afterward, you'd get better stats but you need to have Superiors SHield scrolls to protect it, which would be more costly.

Because it carries over your Enhance MINUS 1 star, so that one would be free.

First EE's 100% chance. Then you switch and you get another 100% chance.
EDIT: Wow, double ninja'd. My life is a failure.


On the topic of the thread, servers seem to be going green. Hopefully that extension was it. Seemed to be for some issue with the cash shop anyway, so I doubt anything's fatally wrong this time around.
