honestly I can see a large number of players walking away if that weapon based damage cap is implemented.
nexon has to realize they have MUCH bigger things to worry about, such as game mechanics, balance of classes, and new game content, before they should even think about looking at trivial aspects such as a new UI...
I dont' know if other people feel the same as me or not, but i'm very very tired of playing the same game, doing the same things, over and over again, relying on playing a new class if I had the slightlest inclination to try to find something "different".
and upgrading has almost become pointless since all we do is upgrade only for it to be useless all over again.
i'm pretty sure upgrading equips is one of the biggest sources of revenue generation from players for maplestory.
and upgrading is stupid if all the work and effort we put into it is nullified do to modification of existing game content.
I can understand and agree if we need to put in work to upgrade for new bosses and new areas, but its simply ridiculous if they just turn around and change what we already have...

Level 210 link skills sounds like a good way to give hackers an even bigger advantage lol
Anyways about the damage cap thing, I'll be quitting if I have a 1M cap with lvl 163 estaffs lol

It's not that kind of necessity, but just to clear things up, I do have the drive to get to 210. I've been itching to train my characters ever since they announced the 250 level cap.

Then it won't be a problem for you. Would you rather that they implement the 250 cap without these lv3 link skills?

I believe the UI is a butchered attempt at Action RPG/Diablo-esque like games with the skills being at the bottom and the exp near it with the HP at the side.

I don't recall ever saying it was a problem for me. I also don't have a positive or negative opinion towards Level 3 Link Skills, I was just trying to explain why some people would be upset that they occur at 210 rather than a lower level to someone who asked why people had a problem with it. I'm sorry for trying to help.

Yeah, totally, it takes me a few days to get to 200, must be too easy, so expecting everyone to get, what is it, 8 characters now?, to 210 is completely reasonable. 150 or 180 would be just too easy. Effortless.

Yes, yes I would. In my opinion, getting no reward for tedious work is better than getting a crappy reward sometimes. This is one of those times. At least there's no disappointment for going beyond 200 for nothing. Not to me at least.
