Well here I go with my question , and it is for the amazing creator of this thread JoeTang.
The question is, if a Phantom hits 100% critical, (meaning an extra hit) in what rank should Phantom be? Thanks in advanced. Only if you can do it, you are helping a lot of ppl with that chart, and you have my like! Thank you so much

Having your own viewed damage should be fine. Just take your damage range before AB Link (Total Damage), and see if your damage is 1.6 * AB Link * range or (1.6 + AB Link) * range with whatever skill you want, though I think having Boss lines at Dojo is a lot more reliable.
ok, just a few things:
i have +505 damage (which displays on range, yet doesn't add) from the aswan ability.
my zerk is 1.61x due to the other aswan ability
2.2x from sacrifice
101% boss damage
damage on a regular mob
71693-505=64069~71188 range
71188*1.61*2.2=226933~252147 (+505)
damage on boss:
if additive: 71188*2.62*2.2=369294~410327 (+505)
if multiplicative: 71188*1.61*2.2*2.01= 456135~506817 (+505)
so that proves it's multiplicative with zerk, also @ LiquidSwing: should show the difference between additive and multiplicative. and as a quick rule, you prefer multiplicative if the numbers are above 1, if the numbers are under 1 then you'd rather have the skill be additive

Alright, I've updated the tables for this. If anyone else can find anything about other characters, that would be cool. Nothing comes to mind right now.

I just noted that Battle Mages and Wild Hunters aren't using their atk% buffs correctly, and I'll update that later today. If anyone could check whether Battle Mages' bonuses affect their ADA DOT or not (Screenshots of range and DOT damage) that would be good.
Wild Hunter's Riding Mastery (3rd job damage bonus to Jaguar skills) might be a damage multiplier as well now that I look at its variables in the data, if anyone could test that.

iirc I think ADA did not affect ADA's DoT and body boost did for BaM. Can't test since game is down.
I was doing 200% of my displayed range with ADA's DoT. ADA's DoT should be 240% at max level.
Battle Mastery definitely counts towards to DoT since I did exactly double my range.

Maybe you could do bare minimum damage too. You have the max dmg.
Like with, say, nothing but a 0 attack weapon and 0 stat secondary weapons/emblems/whatever else.
No ANYTHING bonus-wise outside of skills.
Would that be a good idea?

That's range. Joe's tables are %/s and don't have anything to do with range.

Battle Mastery affects your range, but since it is total damage, it doesn't affect your ADA DoT damage. That's why you're doing 200% of your range. Your range is 1.3x higher from 30% Total Damage. Body Boost and ADA add Magic Attack%, instead of Total Damage, so they will affect ADA DOT. How much Magic Attack% do you have? What's your range without ADA?

I have 0% magic attack, and 8508 range without ADA.

Just wondering, how are AB's still top in DPS if they were nerfed so hard by GMS? Or am I misreading the table somehow. Seems hard to believe that nerfs still make them out to be on top.

You have to consider how much higher up was AB from the rest when it wasn't nerfed for one, and although Soul Seeker was nerfed pretty badly most of their skills have high %s and I believe their weapon also has a pretty high multiplier.

GMS AB's deal 2.5x more damage than KMS AB's. How is this possible? I thought the GMS nerf was more or equal in severity than the KMS nerf.

You'd have to ask Joe about that. It could be a matter of skills used but I believe something extra was done to Soul Seeker here.

Because the nerfs focused on skills that were actually balanced (after the removal of cap at least), status resistance, speed, and jump, yet they did not change soul seeker's 4 orbs to 2 orbs like KMS did on its nerf. Thus, soul seeker is almost as OP as KMS non nerfed AB (bit lower on the skill's %).

The jury's out on that. Luminous, Kaiser and AB may all be nerfed during the appropriate GMS patch (I forgot which one but I believe it's one before DS and CS revamp) but as the values are all different it's hard to say what would happen, especially as a lot of these changes were deliberately made for versions of Maple Story that aren't KMS.

hmm, I still think I'll go with Kaiser's first and see how it goes from there. Recharge system looks a bit bothersome to use, and the difference doesn't look to great between kaiser and AB's
Also another question, are these calculations all over the same time period? Or is it after a full rotation of skills from one character? I know cannon shooter's hyper is really strong, but its on like a 90 second cooldown.
