Lol, some of my friends have been using this to scroll their 'end game' equips. I hope Nexon deletes all items that were created using this exploit.

On that note though, would there be a way to remove all the hacked items without getting rid of some legit ones too? Perfect 10/10 20% Empress weapons can get past the 255 cap with AEEs I think, so removing everything above 255 would screw some people over. I don't think they'll rollback, since it's been weeks since this stuff has been out apparently.

There IS a (presumably) very simple way to wipe these equips its called wipe any equips that are +13 or greater

Remove everything above +10 upgrade count for weapons, above +12(+14 for empress overalls) armors, and everything with more than 12 enhancements.

There's not really much more to be said is there.

I don't see Nexon getting rid of all the items, whatever slips through the cracks will get duped. Bigger gap between the haves and the have nots, legits and illegits, etc etc.

This is just sad.... I hate to see this game ruined by a bunch of greedy assholes. But there is nothing that can be done about it, because we all know Nexon will do nothing. Maybe a roll back if we are lucky but probably just delete some items and ban a couple people. Nice knowing you guys.

I'm already too old to be dealing with pomegranate like this, and frankly I'm glad I can grab my popcorn and play Battlefield 3 and Starcraft while watching this game die a death in flames. Nexon is just going to close the game permanently, and a TON of teenagers are going to be raging mad. Then I'll just laugh and say "your fault for leeching off hackers. blame yourself. At least I'm one of the original PURE Legits."

Maple was actually semi fun (with random annoying hacker problems) from 2005-early 2009). Either I'm just too old, or I'm wasting my time with kids and stupid cheaters who need to die very painfully in a plane crash somewhere in fucking Siberia.

Apparently you can't equip the items that are scrolled more than they should be. Overheard a few people talking about it, but no proof to confirm. Anyone know anything about this?

Is that new? I don't remember anyone having any issues equipping the +11 BWGs/random weapons when hammers first came out.

Why do you keep pointing out cheap legend items? It only takes a few hours to a few days to get enough coins to get the weapons and such. People who farmed rudolph could have just saved the coins, too.

Not to mention that even a full blown coin exploit would mean pretty much nothing in the light of the other problems.

Honestly, I'd be up for a full game shut down for 24 hours in order for them to sort this out. I'd rather miss out on a day of events than have the entire game fucked even further than it is now. Sure that might give them a lot of flack, but that would mean they're actually doing something about it.

If I remember correctly, the summer(?) of 2007 was when Maple's management was transferred from Wizet to Nexon. During that transition phase, the original Demi was made public and like today, people were killing stuff all over the map and legits were begging for leech from said hackers/script kiddies. The whole thing lasted for just about the whole summer. Good times.

Nexon can definitely reverse those items, they did it for HTP's back when hammers got released and people scrolled 5x stat HTP's.

Sad part is some of those items were protected by people who shoved the HTP's into Storage since Nexon apparently doesn't check the Storage for dupes/exploited items.
