[GMST] [1.00] Capture the Flag
I figured we'd get more content-content, but I must admit I'm very glad we're getting the JMS Monster Book. I've wanted this for ages.

Now, well finally know what mobs drop what recipe.
what you mean?
ShiKage Wrote:That's the point. xd

Um... Do the quests daily to get enough coins, trade the coins in for medals, use those medals to access more stuff in the shop. The shoulder pad (in JMS) was 7.5m each and the scrolls were 10m each. The scrolls work at a 50% rate and can blow up your item, so it can be pricy, but it could be cheap if you get lucky.

Pretty much all you have to do is do the quests every day for more coins. Higher ranks of medals tend to require ridiculous amounts of coins, though.

let me get this straight, you need enough coins to UNLOCK the shoulderpad and the scrolls, after that, you can buy an indefinite amount with meso? or you need to collect more coins? because pineapple, i'm perfecting one of these if it's the first option, i'd LOVE that secondary stat+attk

I do believe we'll know which monster drops what recipe due to the Monster Book, although since NexonNA did a full on copypasta, what's there to say they didn't even bother changing the drop list?

Last time we had monster book, it showed the drop tables if you got like 3 of that monster's cards.
If we had these drop tables, we could confirm which mobs drop Dark angelic bless and other rare recipes.
Also, the shoulderpad and scrolls were tradeable in JMS, and he's saying they went for that much in fm
Based on these extactions, they're untradeable in GMS
Edit: I think I'm wrong on the 2nd thing, LF> Shikage to confirm

>Mfw the DAY i forge my shoulderpad i find out it will be completely replaced in a week for 7.5m.

Still, glad i now have a shoulderpad to throw money at. And that book. Plus i can actually finish the monster book for the best stuff...

Hopefully CTF will surprise me and be actually good, just like how PvP was (before the hackers).

The monsterbook is a nice addition, IMO. Gives you reason to, you know, actually explore the new maps, do some quests and such.

However, still can't shake this feeling of...

Once you've obtained the medal required to be able to buy the items from the shop, you will not have to re-obtain the required amount of coins for that medal.

It's not the same monster book. I don't know whether the JMS one has drop lists but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't. And even if it does, unless they're dynamic, I don't know if they'll be up-to-date enough to include recipes.

Its good thing I had no expectations for this patch.

I remember ShiKage saying something about the Monster Book including drops, and there was also an image of it showing such, so...

And wow, we just broke 1k visitors at the same time. Freaking sheesh.

That's just f'king INSANE
With GMS's inflated mesos, if they keep the prices of JMS,'everyone's gonna have a 8 att 11 all stat Pottable shoulder for under 200m, even with some exploding, which is crazy cause the 5 att 9 stat unpottable shoulders are currently going for 1b+.
Glad i sold mine last week Biggrin

JMS' Monster Book does have drop tables and yes, they are dynamic, meaning the images fed through the Monster Book are directly imported from Nexon Japan's drop table. If they change anything in the slightest in the drop tables for a monster you have a card for, you can see the change the instant they make it.

For instance, in our Renaissance (Chaos) patch, our Zakum started dropping 15 stat Zakum helmets (this was a bug, since it's meant to drop 4 to all stat helmets) and they fixed it in a server maintenance. The instant the server maintenance ended, I checked my Monster Book and sure enough, the 4 to all stat helmet was shown in place of the 15 to all stat helmet.

this so much, i HOPE they keep the same prices, i got a crapton of WS that could use some inflation, and hearts to keep my exploding shoulders going

Well, now that you mention it... they did update the monsterbook list. Perhaps I should extract that, eh.

EPIC PATCH IS EPIC! I felt I got trolled hard. I never thought we'd see Monster Book or Cross Brigade content from JMS in GMS. This looks like it'll be fun. So glad I was proven wrong. L>Soul Weapons and Monster Familiars from JMS too~

This patch doesn't seem to be as bad as I previously thought.
In fact, I might have to say this might be the best patch that GMS didn't copy KMS for(not including visitors/masteria). After all, it could have been worse(cake vs pie chaos edition anyone?)

I didn't bother reading most of the thread, but I'm actually pretty darn excited about the monster book & related features.
