Share your Maple weapon hunting stories!

Yesterday, I got Maple Karstan (Level 64 Pole Arm) at the Raid PQ, and Maple Skanda (Level 64 Claw) at Luster Pixies on my Dragon Knight.

Today, I got 5 Maple Pyrope Spears from Birks (2 of them with Potential, 1 being the 2 line (3% DEX, and 4 Weapon Attack) and other being a somewhat useless 3 line (10% Chance of Darkness, 4 INT, and 4 Magic Attack)) on my Hero.

Nexon had better do something about the god damn hackers soon. Every hankie channel was full of aggro hacking mages with ice strike and a pink bunny in the corner and I bet every other maple weapon location in Khaini is the same.

So, in the end what are Pyrope weapons good for besides spamming 20% scrolls on? I haven't checked the FM prices, but surely they aren't that high.

They have 3rd tier potential which will be the best statless weapons to get.

Anyways, I got a Maple Shine Wand from Straw target Dummies in 20 minutes.

You forgot about Unwelcome Guest Gear and Night Raven's Claw (even though those are more expensive).

Honestly I think the only pyrope weapons that are going to be useful in the long run are the 1H sword and the PA. 1H sword because it's one of the few fast 4 3rd tier weapons, and PA because it'll probably be useful and good to sell for all the Arans post-chaos, assuming it's the same speed as the Karstan. Rest is really only useful for people that want to stay statless or something.

I'm up to 387 silver coins after 2 days of farming at Book Ghosts/Sage Cats for about 3-4 hours a day.
about 30 of those coins were from level up event and the maple tree

Was at Sage Cats for like half an hour and found these four + the axe from Book Ghosts.

Three of the five dropped within a three minute span, no joke. >_>

I also BalloonPQ'd for 30~60 minutes and didn't find a single equip.

edit: Just read the rest of the thread and wow. Sage Cats are real good.

I'm easily on 60+ equips from sage cats. It's about 20 per hour and a half on x2 drop. Made over 600m since the patch. ^_^

Hankie's drop Chaos Scrolls, hackers have been there for months.

Day 3: Hours at sage cat.

Stopped hunting after day 1, personal issues have come up and cant get on ms. Got about 10 scrolls from ~5hrs of hunting at sage cats. I felt proud of that until I see you guys with over 350 coins

Got a whole load of pyrope battle axes from werewolves yesterday.
Don't have much use for them though :/

I've made ~210 coins at sage cats with like 3-4 hours of 2x drop. Frickin' amazing.
Totally looking forward to trying out 4x drop today <3

Spent 30mins at Memory Monks and not even a single drop of anything

Seems random actually;

i have been getting soul rohens by the dozens in the sage cat+book ghost map, and i really mean that, heck, i am pretty sure half or a third of the coins i have, are from soul rohens.

Do you guys go to the map with book ghost and sage cat or just hidden map with sage cats?
