I think that's the average rate a healthy adult gets sick per year. For the less fortunate, it doubles.

Still, pretty good for someone from Cali who has never seen snow.

Ah who gives a damn about being off-topic. Right now any news related to LoL is uber-slow right now, but I'm sure things will go back to the way it is once the upcoming patch details are released (soon™). xD

P.S. I saw snow already during that big East Coast snowstorm back in October.

So I have been chatting with Josh and I realized that if there any complaints about major "balance issues" with LoL...Riot has actually done a great job with that.

Yu-Gi-Oh TCG? There's too many elements that break that game already, trololol. The developers of that game forget to consider the overall picture (aka, what they have released already), and release something that becomes game-breakingly OP (by itself or syngergizes with other already-released cards) and ends up on the ban list almost immediately. (I can go ahead and list a few of them out, but this isn't the right place to do so =P). And nerfing in Yu-Gi-Oh TCG is much more difficult due to the nature of the game and the limited options to actually "nerf" OP cards.

(Though thinking about this is kind of mind blowing at times, especially if its a game that you played when you were of elementary-school age )

So I just realized I have yet to check out all of Sivir's changes. Since I actually own her from the PAX swag, I'ma check it out.

What's the community consensus on the new Sivir?

So I just realized I have yet to check out all of Sivir's changes. Since I actually own her from the PAX swag, I'ma check it out.

Do note that you'll see a lot of sheep in the LoL forums complaining about he she's not viable anymore. Not true

On a serious note, I did try out her out once the Sivir remake went live, and I found that she's more stable now. In her previous form, she was basically "all over the place". For instance, her previous form meant that she can be a brutal pusher/BDer, can snowball and rape hard, or just outright be really bad. But now Sivir is much more stable now; her abilities' scaling now scale off AD only instead of AP/AD, and she still does quite a decent amount of damage. Also, the increased AA range helped her quite a bit; makes her a bit more on par with standard AD ranged carries in the current metagame.

If you want a simple way think she's a bit more stable, just think how her "max" and "min" variables were reduced and increased, respectively. That's how I think of it.

As for her ultimate, while it was a small nerf for the AS boost at max rank (+90% AS --> +60% AS), I think it was a bit better because any ally who comes in range of her ult aura gets the ult buff instead of "you can only receive Sivir's buff if you're close to her at the moment she casts it". But it really depends on who you talk to.

Since her Ricochet was remade, you'll find that you will have to adjust to its new mechanics to get the most out of that ability. For example, in clearing minion waves, you first aim a Boomerang on a minion wave, then at the right moment, sweep in with a Ricochet attack to maximize the amount of minion kills you can get off the bounces. Also, I think using Ricochet right after your last AA will reset your AA timer (not sure about that though, someone please clarify this for me). IMO I think the mana costs for that ability should be reduced by 5-10 mana per cast (I think 5 mana cost reduction is enough), and that ability will be in a good place.

I see her sometimes in ranked now, her early game is really good with some AD runes, boomerang really hurts hard. Most people I've seen build a trinity on her and start kicking some ass.

Mundo Mundo! I single handely defended my tower agains a duo lane while we had a Leaver right of the bat and after that i just became a walking nightmare to the enemy team. Dang they are lucky i only Smurf once every full moon or so hahaha. (Btw i only rushed a spirit visage and boots of swifness and was about to make the sunfire cape)
