Pokémon X and Pokémon Y
Rinax Wrote:Evil broccoli with legs and tiny arms.

My thoughts exactly. It's like a hybrid of a piece broccoli and a spider. A spriccoli, if you will. Two of the worst things imaginable put together.

Evil mutated broccoli with legs and arms.

I can't figure out if that's two mouths or just a stripe.

Dark/Grass or Ghost/Grass type considering it's an ent?

Edit:

This generation is taking a handful of things from Dragon Quest Monsters from what I can tell, and I'm ok with this.

Oh man if we all get warnings for this it's totally worth it.

I keep thinking of "Oorotto" as "Ooo, root", making me think it's Grass/Ghost. I hope so.

I think if it is a Grass/Ghost though it should have been a more dead looking tree.

New rumours!
 Spoiler

"To dig + Bee" definitely sounds like a Dunsparce evolution to me, since dunsparce has bee markings and a stinger, and digs itself underground.
A snow wolf? pretty cool. if it's true I can't believe it's taken this long for them to add Wolves and Lions as pokemon.
"Moonlight Moth" sounds awesome, a counterpart to Volcarona?
"Lunar Tail" sounds interesting. Absol Evo maybe?

Luxray doesn't count?

First thing that comes to mind: Luna moth

I always considered it as being based on a Lynx, rather than a Lion.

Shiftree is a ninja, so it's ok for us to not notice him.

Cacturne on the other hand..

Shiftry is a tengu, not a ninja. Jeez.

@Razmos - is that official art, or just one freaking amazing drawing? :f6:

It's kind of based on both, they both are all shadowy and stealthy though, so my point counts regardless I guess Tongue

Frostilyte Wrote:@Razmos - is that official art, or just one freaking amazing drawing? :f6:
It's just an amazing drawing. numerous artists went to see the film multiple times so they could get all the details of the pokemon to be more accurate. This drawing is like a mixture of all the vague details collected by people who saw it, and finalized into a more or less accurate drawing.

Does anybody else think it might be a legendary? It seems like a very "standalone" design, and seems to mix well with both Xerneas' and Yvetal's themes of life and destruction.

Pokemon W?

Nah its not legendary, or at least from what the description of that pic says it apprears in a hoard battle.

ahh of course, I completely forgot about the horde battle part. good catch.

That gets me thinking actually, I wonder if there will be rare pokemon that only show up in horde battles. that would be pretty cool.
