I'm getting back into MapleStory, and I need an answer: I'm making a Page/White Knight/Paladin character but not such what weapon type I should be using. So my question to you guys is: Is 1H + Shield the best rather than sticking with just a 2H weapon for endgame purposes?

However, I think Paladins need a shield for some of their skills to work right, although this may have changed. Wait for an answer from someone more knowledgeable about them.

You can do 2h, but 1h is recommend since shield mastery gives you 10 atk once maxed, and guardian doesn't work without a shield. Also I think the weapon attack you can scroll a shield to have outweighs the 2h multiplier difference.

Don't forget that shields can also get weapon potential too now.

I think secondary weapons can too, so I didn't bother mentioning it.

i wan to know thoes str% and boss dmg and ignore def can deal how many dmg only , any picture / video ?

I lost almost 1/3 of my range after the patch and cant figure out why, maybe someone here can help out?

ranged went from 30k to 21k. I set my character cards back up and im back up to 22k. My hyper skills didnt get reset(the 50 str one atleast and thats the only one that effects my range)

any ideas?

I went bossing and i was doing only 600k's on bosses e.e

I have 100% pdr, (around 100% boss dmg including skills), and some % total dmg (e.g: 4% nebulite on my shield)

why did my dmg went that down T_T?

sources of PDR, amounts and boss you were fighting post-patch? could be because of the multiplicative pdr formula, the more proof we get going about it the better i guess.

It does, but it's only ("only", lol) 20%. It would take him from 22k to 26.4k, not to 30k.

well.. I've tried on mano the snail, ranmaru normal, zakum, ht and a few others area bosses (including the new stumpy)

sources of pdr at the momment: 30% from binding darkness (passive) 15% codex, 15% neb, 15% lumi link, around 5% ambition, 15% demon cry, demon impact 30%

so around 80% passive and 45% from active skills

does that justify a 300k decrease per hit on my dmg since last patch?

i was just hoping he was exxagerating in this case, i.e. he had 22.700 k range base which became 27k and he just said 30 k to round. i have no clue from where the rest could have gone, jett skill maybe? seems like a huge amount for such a range though

yea my numbers werent exact. only been playing a few days after a long break. it was like 29.8 down to 21.x and now its like 23.3 with the cards(not 22). so its closer the the 20% but not quite right.

Mystic Face Accessory - Clean
Purple Giles Cape - 8 Str, 6% Str
Brown Raccoon Mask (PLEASE reserve judgement, this was purchased when there were tons of them and I intend to sell it to upgrade other gear) - 30 Att, 3l rare
Lionheart Gloves - 32 Att, no pot
Lionheart Mail - Clean 3l epic
Lionheart Boots - Clean
Purple Witch Belt (my pride and joy, but will sell if it will fetch enough to upgrade other things substantially) - 6 atk, 15% str + 2% str neb (unique)
Horntail Necklace - 9% str
Rose Earrings - 13 dex, 9% str
Tempest Shoulder - clean, 6% str
Reverse Nibleheim - 16 str, 185 atk, total dmg + 15%, total dmg + 4% neb
Virtues Medallion
Legendary Gratias Ring
Tempest Ring 3 atk, 6% str
Evo Ring 3 (10 atk)

I am sitting on 1b pure and anticipate about 4b from the mask in its current state (waiting for a hot time to cube it and sell for hopefully more) - so my question is this: how can i spend around 5b to better my gear overall?

I bolded stuff that could be upgraded. Personally, I go for at least % str in everything before I move for higher stuff. Try to get % str on your hat through another in the fm. You'll get "The Next Legend" when you get to 200 which gives 3 attack but Neo City Time Traveler is better than as well with +1 more all stat than the Silent Crusade. Aim for either more better potential on your face or find a tree branch nose with high % str.

Yeah, overall, you probably just need a lot of % str on some of your equips for those that don't have it. There are also new rings with slots meaning they can be pot'd and neb'd. Secondary item can also be neb'd as well as pot'd.

Haven't played Maple in a while.

What is the best tradeable equips for warrior available right now?

I want to use the equips for my Kaiser but it would be nice if I were able to transfer the equips to other warrior's if I want to try them out. (Like Zero/Revamped Drk)
What should I aim for with 3 bil?
