I play with some latency so the words come out as she is already casting it.

So I'm still trapped in the 2nd ring upgrade map and won't be out till next maintainance. That means I'm going to miss all the scrolls for this week and if I did want any of the cash shop perma equips I can't get them on that character. This wouldn't be such a big deal if I wasn't poor and needed this ring for a decent boost.

Why can't they let you out on today's maintenance?

Also, you might try logging in on a friend's computer. Some computers play nicer with cutscenes than others.

I'm not sure if they're letting me out or not today since the ticket response came at 12:19 AM PDT and only referred to "after the next maintenance." So maybe it's today but I was under the impression the next maintainence was later. So it might be a mistake on my part.

It was not a mistake on my part. I'm still locked in the stupid map which means that I'm still fucked in terms of getting a decent ring.

Is it just me, or has anyone thought that a bad assumption was made where assuming a 10% increase in min/max crit = 5% avg dps boost?

Shouldn't this number also diminish with increasing average crit dmg?

Refering to the maplers who are comparing boss ring vs crit dmg ring and Kuraitou's numbers because he states:

Your current crit damage is irrelevant when considering a min/max crit ring

but I know that hadriels numbers show the diminishing value of crit dmg as well

Sorry in advance since I didn't read the entire thread, but have you tried restarting your computer and then logging in again? I was stuck in the first cutscene on my desktop and restarting the entire computer usually fixes it. It has fixed it for me numerous times at least.

Screw the stones for being so easy to click and get instently in your inventory -_-... Got a str one by accident, that kind of sucks.

It seems the numbers I computed were change instead of percent change. I will redo the numbers in that post and update the formula.

So, today starts the 4th and final week of this ring event. According to Max, we have to "defeat Black Warrior Mokadin and Assault-bot CQ57 (Elite Bosses)" Is that what we have here in GMS as well?

Unfortunately, yes.
That's not for the ring, though. It's for a damage skin and black cube.
You can just do the usual 5 daily quests for stones for the ring.
