My point is, none of the classes you mentioned need this link skill. Demon Slayer, Mikhail, Kaiser, they can already have 100% without it; they're not going to become untouchable again because of this link skill, they're already there. They don't benefit from it as much as pretty much every other class would, who need it much more, and you want them to take that away from the classes who need it?

At first I was afraid they had kept all the previous skills from buccaneer / thunder breaker, but after reading Leafre / OM's blog I'm glad to see this job's got an almost complete variety of new skills.

All skills look awesome so far, I kind of wish 1 or 2 skills from their previous form had been kept and changed to fit the new theme but everything is fine.

So the new thunder breakers are basically what I've always imagined Buccs should have been(as far as chaining mechanics), without the sharks and lightning.

Which then makes me wonder if they'll eventually decide to keep Buccs as they are (which would be a smack in the face to Buccs) or revamp them to be more similar to the new thunder breakers, in which case I will again wonder what makes Cygnus Knights unique compared to their adventurer counterparts aside from cosmetic changes.

They could just implement the whole "chaining sytem" into Buccs only in different flavor.

Instead of thunder sharks and aqua waves, give buccs energy dragons and ki waves. Sure would prefer Second Job Dragon to Random Tornado attack.

Buccs already have a system that could make them very unique: Energy. Aran has combos, Angelic Buster has recharge, Luminous has balance, etc. Buccs have energy, only that energy is done extremely poorly.

Buccs could chain up skills, chaining skills raises further the Energy bar, high energy bar unlocks use of stronger skills, hp drain, etc. It's really sad that now Buccs can only chain a rush... with another rush. Yo dawg, I heard you like rush moves.

After watching some videos of the job, I've come to dislike Thunder/Cerebral or w.e. It gives Striker way too much mobility for the job, while also the Ascender/Thunder combo seems to make most other combos unnecesary/useless. This goes to the point of making it too similar to Dual blades and shadowers.

I am not saying Strikers should be slow, but flash jump is more than enough to grant them enough mobility. Thunder just seems to take away from the pirate scense the other skills give it and bring it close to a thief.

And I'd prefer an actual sea pirate, not a ninja pirate. For that I have my pirate themed Night Lord.
