Nexon's taking action against Hard Mode Magnus Hackers

I'm fairly confident even a buster hitting all caps can't solo hard mode magnus <_<; At least limgoon wasn't able to from the looks of it.

He wasn't the best at dodging.
He ran out of deaths, not time iirc.

I think a Hard Mode Magnus solo is in order once Carlos and I finish gearing the AB.
There's no -10% reduction outside the zone, which makes it a LOT easier.

On Hard? Cause I know it exists in Normal.

Dodging isn't trivial though. If Magnus chooses the wrong attack while you're webbed you are dead lol

Anyways hard mode starts with more balls I think. I only went once on accident but it seemed like as many balls as when normal is <30% health.

Go Team Nexon! As far as what people have speculated on them rebuilding, I would say it's possible and that they may decide to skip over Hard Mode Magnus this time but now that they know they're being watched it is likely that some would quit too as getting to that level does take time and they're now aware that a GM could be watching silently even if they go to the other bosses.

It appears that Asiasoft has now shut down the Chambers for the second time with the first happening in October last year but it remains to be seen if their approach is anything as good as Nexon's.

Did stuff change since I lost interest? Why do people take anything Tyler says seriously all of a sudden? He was a normal player without any ties to Nexon last time I checked. Did hell freeze over?

He was made an official Volunteer (and since lost/given up said status) and has apparently demonstrated some actual special connections with Nexon employees. Despite some dubious claims, his statements are now generally correct or at least uncontested. There's some room for interpretation on whether or not he actually knows more than the rest of us.

In any case, I'm glad Nexon has finally managed to do something that takes out the high profile hackers. Hopefully they can keep up the good work.

Amazed that they bother with something like this. Sometimes I think Nexon doesn't even want to get rid of exploiters/hackers if it would make them lose money in any way.

In my defense, I'd like to say that I was born and raised Catholic, and in the sense of "morals" aka the difference between right and wrong, I definitely have morals.

Being Catholic has nothing to do with moral. If the only thing holding a person back from killing, robbing and molesting people is a fantasybook of any kind, then that person has serious problems.

In my philosophy class we were asked if we could receive one million dollars at the cost of someone we don't know dying (aka the movie The Box), would we accepted or not. I'm disappointed in myself to say that yes, I would accept that offer. And I know that over half the population of the entire world would as well.
I'd also like to say that a few years ago, I absolutely despised hackers. I reported them, sent in tickets with screenshots, and started a youtube channel dedicated to posting proof of hackers. Over the coarse of time, hackers were growing in population faster than Nexon employees were, and I gave up. I began to accept them, I stopped having pomegranatety damage because I was one of those who boycotted the FM, I bought equips and items that probably came into the game because of hackers, etc. I'm not at all shamed to say that I'm wearing a full empress set right now, I bought each for 250m a couple of months ago, and I know for a fact that they came from hackers. I'm not saying that I wouldn't also love to get rid of hackers, I'm just saying that I accepted them as 'part of the game' in a way, and sometimes they were even beneficial to myself, and I think half of the people in most nexon/basil/sp/etc threads are completely hypocrites because they are in the same boat as I. That, and I'm pretty sure that before Unlimited, only Angelic Buster's powers of Love and Justice™ do high enough damage to even beat Hard Mode Magnus before the timer runs out. Mainly because she's the only one who can leave an attack going (One that can hit for up to 10 million neverless.) and flee if necessary. (Instadeath balls and whatnot.)

i dont think she solo .... hard mode magnus ... here the reason first of all i saw atleast 4-5 ppl inside that room

i know there a fact that the other team must also be attacking.... to do some or any type of dmg

the video show only Ab dmg cuz the other play dmg doesnt show even if they are attack

I apologize if our message as a group forum is unclear but allow me to clarify. Any southperrican can correct me if I seem off bounds;

Maplestory, in my view, and I would like to think, in our general forum view is a great game for it's simplicity, it's art that gives a great charm to it, and it's straight forward method of success. What I and other players dislike is hackers bastardizing it. I don't like hackers because of their ethic's but no one here is shallow enough her to base their entire character of a person based on their decisions on an online game, but will call out of if unnecessary stupid comments, such as "you need us". I don't appreciate what hackers do the game, even if they make every cheap and managable, sure in the short term, goddamn what a feeling, I accomplished everything so efficiently, so quickly, with little or no investment needed.

Then you get level 200 exploiters/hackers who quit with oodles and oodles of money complaining how crappy maplestory and think the game is beneath them. Then you have a company (mind you is changing clearly) that seemed to not only empathize with those caught cheating but did nothing to prevent it. In fact might as well endorsed it. For nearly 2 years we've had the top 2% control the game, and leftovers of those generations won't be surpassed for at least an additional year or a new potential like thing is implemented.

Hackers ruin the game, period, they are doing us no favors but taking the growth out of the game. The drama doesn't help because then they compete on who can cause the most chaos.

Maybe it'll be fixed with AB patch.

The non-dispellable sleeping gas is extremely detrimental. If GMS gets CMS-nerfed AB then I doubt it'll be possible even then.

He was banned (hence being on the list) but apparent came back through his connections. Seemingly, the equips were stripped.

Perma bans don't do a thing in this game unless they are done to legit people with no GM connections it seems.

Meanwhile, I'm about 1/3 of the way through a one-month autoban for daring to lag during 2x.

I've heard that too the same day the hackers were QQing and saying they were going to quit, but I didn't believe that since hackers say a lot of things. After tracking that guy, Idk what to believe.
The BaM looks like a hacker mule and I don't know if he is from a known hacker or not. I was going to empress and he took the channel, then a friend googled him and we found that SP thread where it says he got perma banned a while ago, but as you can see, he is still playing and killing empress.
