It was said sometime last week that they need the servers up to (help) find out what the issue is. IIRC they've brought up the servers in just about every USC we've had (if not all) well before they actually finished.

I have the feeling the moment I fall asleep, the game will come back up, and I'll miss my chance at getting a toad again. Also, I decided to DL and install Eden Eternal. The moment I get on, a notice in-game comes up saying they're doing a maintenance in 5 minutes.

Technically, they did. For 20-25 minutes. Then they put it back down, and are now acting as if that never happened. This is a continuation of the USC that started this morning.

They did, **** went down again, and they swept it under the rug like they never brought the game back online.

Some of my rings are sitting at lvl 6, waiting until tomorrow to complain would already be too late considering how they're almost guaranteed to have something crash again soon afterward.

This is such a hot mess that completely exemplifies the issue Nexon has with keeping the userbase informed.

Do they have any intention of this USC ending today? What about the patch - has it been delayed or will they go immediately into THAT maintenance following the (TBD length) USC?

It'd be nice to have a ballpark timeframe here, even if it is way off at least it's something to work your self around. Oi.

Quite honestly, I'd PREFER they went straight to the update after this. They really don't want to fall behind. That would mean our events would get pushed behind and so will everything else to come... :l

I need to grab one of my ring upgrades today or it gets stuck on level 9, assuming we don't get yet another extension.

My timeline during Nexon's 1st Annual Instability Week:

• Come back to MS after having left in 2008

Yet, despite the instability, I got two characters to 70 and one to 102. Both of my rings are level 4 (currently at risk of being stuck at lv 9 if we can't log in today/no further extension).

My only real problem is that the MapleStory staff can't seem to find it in themselves to have someone post updates more regularly, even if it's just "Still working on it, hang tight." We've had one update so far (two if you count the ten minutes the server was up around 3:50 PM PST), in more than nineteen hours of downtime.

Considering all the other events continued on through until 11:59 PM PST on January 31st (AKA midnight going towards the 1st of February), where as the Telerock event stopped working at 12:01 AM January 31st (aka just after the midnight transition from the 30th) and did not work at all that day, I'm considering it having been bugged on the 31st.

I had zero expectation of it working on the 1st, but it wasn't that much of a stretch to expect it to be timed with all the other events in grouped in that time period.
