there are so many ways to go about this really. simplest being:

is the attached char a 120 cygnus with X quest done? Y/N
N = Ban

now, i'll be over there waiting for nexon to do nothing.

Oh, not quite nothing. I believe they will block this hack within a few days. But I doubt they'll do anything to the existing fake UAs.
Which is probably a good thing. I bet if they do try to ban them, they will either end up doing a half-assed job (ban only Cannoneers, for example) or harming more legits than hackers (ban all level 50 UAs, or ban everyone with white eyes).

i completely agree, makes me sad that nexon's incompetence is something we even count on.

It isn't always about economy damage. :/

But it is always about damage in some capacity.
This exploit doesn't really cause any damage whatsoever.

It's going to be nothing because this is equivalent to the exploit that allowed people to get level-up event items without leveling up.
Nexon could have done the same thing there, but they didn't.
