That wasn't the point to begin with. Botters get more ring recipes than legits. To argue against that would be the stupidest thing in the world.

Okay since the idea isn't getting through your head, let's do it this way.
You can kill 100 monsters per hour. Drop rate is 1 in 7000 (0.0000142%)
You play for about 6 hours a day and kill 600 monsters for a week equating to about 4200. No drops.
A botter bots for 24 hours a day and kills at an upgraded rate of 150 monsters per hour. Bringing up that total to 3600 monsters that day times 7 times a day for about 25,200 monster kills with a 1/7000 chance meaning on average they would receive 3 drops, while you have 0.

I knew i wasnt gonna get this ring unless i got very lucky and my friend would take me to kill zak with him AND it dropped and he didnt want it, god knows i cant solo zakum with my shadower or pally. I have a shyt range on all my chars i knew it wasnt gonna happen from drops, and im not rich at all most ive had at a time in meso was 100mil-150mil, i knew it wasnt gonna happen with money either, but one day it will happen i can say it for sure if you keep hunting it will drop, anyway since i got shot down so quickly and got categorized as an idiot quickly im just going to end my talking in this section with this, too bad get over it.

Not wanting to hunt it was a decision made LONG before this announcement. Around when i got an idea of how rare it was to drop. At first i was going to zakum for it, then someone in the recipe guide told me how many he killed while not getting a single one.

I never said it was hopeless to get something better either. I've already said in places other than southperry that 5th part is the only way to get that kind of bonus or better.

Out of curiosity, for those of you who did prepare for the DAB Ring (I didn't), would my ore mule be sufficient to get it during the time span, as well as to forge it?

Since when? All you have to do is work slightly harder for the ring, it's not the end of the world. Just imagine how much sweeter it'll be once the recipe drops from Zak, assuming you even hunt for it.

Regardless, I thought we learned our lessons from YEARS ago to never assume NexonNA will copy every single bit of coding / event from KMS word for word. If anything, we should've seen this coming first off, instead of assuming we'd be getting the recipe for free just by throwing money at ores / plates.

SLIGHTLY? Not only did i already do most of the work, the work involved to hunt for it is a LOT worse. I don't care about how sweet it will be to see it drop because that will never happen.

I like my way better, I can transfer all the raw ores to one mule without having to relog to do gems.

Plus, it balances the load between 2 mules more evenly.

Oh, I forgot, most of my sapphire ores are on a 3rd mule, cause there's some quest that consumes ~60 of them and I didn't want to have to refine them all.

Well Dark Link, consider this. Invest in and put effort in to being prepared for this even as it was super very ultra likely to be brought over, and then reap the benefits of the best ring in the game, OR, sit on my ass then whine when the event comes because I was unprepared and now either have to buy the ring for a jacked up rate because I wasn't prepared, or go through a ton of work with many mules mining all this stuff from scratch spending literally all day just to get the ores and then make the rings to level up my jewelery so I can get the recipe. Clearly, only a dolt would think the latter the better choice.

@ Stereo, I think you have enough. 343 gold/topaz plates and 9 plates in ores, so a little bit more gold/topaz, which you could mine over those 10 days and you're good. However, you're 5 lidiums short.

Yeah, they never dropped from stuff I was training on so it's not a huge surprise. I might have a few more ores on scattered mules that I never bothered to collect though. I can hope.
