wow!!! so the more powerful the character that you use to make the Nobless, the more powerful your nobless starts out to be!! thats so awesome. So a LvL 200 char who makes a Nobless would be extremely strong.

I hope what you're saying is -NOT- true, because that would mean that the baby bishop I-dont-need-skills-only-nx class that can get to lvl 200 in less then 1 year, would be able to make an even more stronger character then others which take like 5 years to get to lvl 200...

Really I hope you're wrong on this one, because if this is true that would really unbalance the gameplay even more... -.-

Hopefully it's based on being 1st/2nd/3rd/4th job only... not pure lvl, because that would really unbalance these classes before they even excist...

I don't know if it was posted before, but..

Yeah, blitz already posted it.

While this is interesting news and quite intriguing, as well, I'm a bit confused...

Aside from the fact that these are all classified as separate (new?) classes, do they retain all the original skills as the class they are based on (like Bowman have Arrow Blow, for example), aside from the Sprite Blessing skill, or...?

That's the only thing I don't get.

We don't know about the other classes since they are only testing the pirate one right now. But seeing the skills that the pirate has, it seems the other classes would retain their original skills plus the new ones.

You just get a higher level blessing sprite for your Noblesse character depending on the level of your main character.

Looks like they really want me to delete one of my characters... =( Why couldn't they make the Noblesse have their own page at the login screen so 3 regular characters => 3 Noblesse?

(note: I have a 122 Paladin and 92 DK on the same account on Bera... so I can only get a Nobless for one of them... )

Time for them to make the "Increase character slots" CS item available to all versions. I would pay to have more character slots on my main account...I need like a dozen. lol

ZYXWVUT Wrote:- Blessing of the Sprite : Increases skill levels by the linked character's level.
The Order character (nobless) and the character that created the Order character (main char) are connected one on one.
If the Order character's (nobless) level increases, the character that created the Order character's (main char) Blessing of the Sprite skill level increases
and the opposite, if the character that created the Order character (main char) levels up, then the Order character's (nobless) Blessing of the Sprite skill level increases.
If the character that created the Order chracter (main char) has a high level, then an Order character (nobless) can be raised powerfully from the beginning.

both char are linked, so what i guess is, higher lvl ur nobless are, stronger ur main char will be, and the opposite will happen too, so who already is lvl 200, can make an stronger nobless from the beggining already, and leveling it to 120, will make the main char stronger than it already is.

we just need to know what blessing of the sprite give

Alloy Wrote:UHM... I have a theory...

Imagine these new characters are linked to the character you joined the thing with...

Like, if when reaching lv 120 on the "extra" one, you get an attribute/skill/thing from the class you chose. Or a medal, a equip, etc...

It's provides replayability for those of us that will reach lvl 200 or already have. I don't know why people have to be this way about everything. It's completely selfish. Besides, in today's Maple Story, it shouldn't take anyone 5 years to get to 200, the game hasn't even been out 5 years yet, and look how many 200's we have.

Well, I'm glad I'll be 200 by the time this comes out. This gives me motivation to make sure that happens. lvl 149 55%... 3 more months at the pace I play.

This is starting to look like MS's version of ascension (or rebirth or whatever you'd like to call it).

Typical online game ascensions function like this:
  • Your old character is lost and reset to level 1
  • Some stat/ability is transferred to your new character
  • Class change is allowed
  • Your new character has advantages over their normal class counterparts of the same level
  • Your new character has abilities that were previously unattainable

The major differences I see here are that your ascended character is considered a separate entity from your original character, instead opting for a link system in which you can still play your old character, and your old character is improved by your ascended character. The ascended character is also capped at a much lower level (no 4th job is available). So, the focus is still on giving you something else to do and to keep you interested, but the ultimately, the main character is still your original instead of the ascended character.

I see the possibility of an ascended 4th job, though, in which case it becomes a true ascension.

The way this seems to be done, it's that you make an "ally". You get benefits from him, and he gets them from you. BUT! You control both, at different times. When you improve on one, you will on the other, too.

If monster book gets to be shared, too, it'd be fantastic.

Oh well.

Well, we can still hope, since not even the rest of the classes are released... Or the place where you make your advancement.

By the way, You create a new name, or is your own name used? Like "MasterGuy" Becomes... Nobless "MasterGuy".

I think you create a new name. But what I don't get is how tespia people choose eyes, hair and skin from Mr. Goldstein.
