Confused BB with the other kind of BB somehow.

Thanks Mr. Chinchilla. Smile

Edit: I wonder if Big Bang skill is actually getting some relevance in the "Big Bang" patch story. Tongue

The three most powerful Magicians in Victoria the Bishop and the Archmages of Fire and Ice were mad at their lack of power compared to the other warriors of the Maple World, resentful they were eager to help a Magician promising them the same power as other Warriors of the Maple World and more. So they lent the power of their strongest spell Big Bang to to this Magician unknown to them to be the Black Magician, who used this power to Revamp the Maple World.

Big Bang must be renamed for each class, since it no longer "gathers up particles in the air" and make them explode. =)

Big Bang's description was changed. Apparently Nexon laughs at your logic. This is for I/L BB:

일정 시간 동안 주위의 작은 입자의 힘을 끌어 모아 한번에 폭발시킨다. #c번개속성#이며 최대 6명의 적을 동시에 공격할 수 있다.

Were there any more animation changes, I feel kind of bad for Bishops, but you shouldn't be training on monsters that resist your element anyway, without E-Reset that is, which Bishops don't get.

Bishops don't get true elemental reset, but we have something that's not as good, but can work the same way.

 Elemental Reset?

And we've had it since day 1.

I'm going to guess damage values are just pre-defense damage now instead of that quadratic formula? That makes things simpler on both ends o_o

i always loved doom, it's like slow, seal, reset all in one package and makes the monster tiny so it's easy to avoid

Every video I've watched post Big Bang I've been checking their damage. I have never once seen someone receive more damage than the new PADamage numbers. So, the logical assumption is that the PADamage is the maximum damage a mob can do and WDEF further reduces it. The calculation for the low end damage for mobs is unknown, though.

The idea of a secondary element only came about for two reasons: Getting ice was always better, and lightning was second in the name. Also because there were more ice attacks in the 4th job. Now there are two lightening attacks, two ice attacks, and an ice summon.

Besides, there's already a mid range ice mob attack, and a huge range ice mob attack. We don't need anymore ice attacks. A lightning mob attack that's not from the second job is awesome.

Hmm, how would lightning Big Bang compare to CL in terms of training and bossing?

I also love Doom, I used it a lot on Skelegons until I realized that it drained all my Magic Rocks leaving me unable to door. Big Grin
Removing the rock requisite would make it overpowered, though.

Doom's success rate is only 60% though. It's even less usable than it is now.

BB and CL have complementary roles. You use BB when moving from platform to platform and as your first hit, then you use ID to freeze/DoT and CL to mop up.

@ Bribery
Really? Talk about unneeded nerfs. Not like 90% Doom made Bishops level like crazy or something.
Doom would be a godly (overpowered) skill if it wasn't for the rocks and the now 60% chance. But they've just killed it now. Sad

@Fiel
Even with their hax DOT, F/P don't sound as fun as I/L for me. :O
Maybe it's just the freezing-zapping thing.

its off topic but...

would you be able to tell if buccs got their invincibility frames back (From the data)?

So true. But I don't know how far the extent of status effects working on bosses goes, if Doom has any effect on bosses, I'd rework my build to incorporate it.

I hope they either change Big Bang back for Bishops at least, change Doom in a way that makes it slightly worse than Elemental Reset (back to 90% with a longer duration?, and I don't think removing the rock requirement would be too much), or... Advanced Magic Claw + stronger Summon Dragon? The last one has so many issues though.

No. Only through playing it. After just hopping on my marauder, buccs did not get their invincibility frames back.

Get rid of the Rock Requirement on Doom and it's fine as it is. 60% Chance? use it 3 times. 94% chance to Doom any given mob after 3 uses. 69% chance to doom 6 mobs after using it on them 3 times each.

Would this apply to F/P, except with BB, Fire Demom(?), and Paralyze?
