You can try turning off active protection and then running scheduled scans instead. That's pretty much what I do with my antivirus. Don't have it running in the background, but you still have it's protection. You don't really need active support unless you're constantly putting yourself in risk or something. Just use common sense with what you're doing online, and scan if something seems suspicious. If you miss something, your daily scan will most likely pick it up later.

Then again, I keep my computer on 24/7, so not sure if you have the option of putting it to scan at a time you're usually asleep.

Of course, this may raise problems when your computer eventually does scan it...

Nah, I just "fixed" it by adding the C:\ProgramFiles\Nexon to the exception list on Resident Shield.

I fixed it too, but when I tried running the .exe, it said I didn't have access. So I moved it back into the Virus Vault...
