Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread

The only big problem I have is that you can't buy HP or MP potions. You get a few in the beginning, but they quickly get used up or become obsolete. And you're lucky to get a quest every 2 or 3 dungeons that has a quest that gives more pots. B>heal betch

This. There is going to be a dramatic need for Crusaders once the game reaches OBT or full release. Btw are you gonna be on your gunner again today jared? Oh, Fatigue bar does not increase with level, it is only resetable by waiting until tomorrow and it will be at 156/156. Entering a room in a dungeon decreases fatigue by one so you need to have a plan before entering if you are going to boss rush or clear the unique monsters for better rewards

Fatigue sounds like a peach. I got down to ~40? on the first day.

Free pomegranate up for grabs. Spear and sword look pretty decent. Set Breastplate (lolisenharts) has some pretty good defense. The shirt I'm wearing in the screen is up for grabs too, if you want it to match your pants, Fiel.

Do any of you guys have an armour-type passive? I have a Light Armour passive that gives me a +STR and +Hit Recovery boost when I wear them, as seen in the Sya Bark Breastplate.

Shylock does sell potions, but they cost a big chunk (I think it was 8k) gold for one loaf of bread and 10 victory points, which you get from PvP. So obviously you need to go way way way out of your questing needs to get ONE potion. In the time it takes you to do that you probably could have done a quest that gives you some HP potions. Maybe there's an early repeatable quest that gives potions?

Well I just started playing today,
level 5 gunner lol.
I really like it, though I do not like the fact characters look almost the same. Quite annoying. ;-;
I don't really like the Goblin Pin idea either, its a pain sometimes.

Ya I got it thanks a lot. So far I am lvl 17 and I really want to be Berserker, but I need some help. To advance I need red cube fragments but I only have 28/60 right now. If you guys don't mind I'd greatly appreciate it if you could spare any. BTW grats JaredtheUnseen(Motion in-game) on 18 and Ranger.

I'm currently level 14. Mostly soloed through everything, but I did go through Galqdsawhatever with a party of 3 on Master Road -_-. I ended up dying twice, though I did get an S rank...
I managed to finish a Mirkwood Frost Master Road solo just before logging off. I seem to have an extremely hard time doing Poison Thunderland though it seems. I'm really thankful for all these quests though, stuff's not as boring with it there.

Spoils for the day that I bothered to keep on me, up for grabs. The Akisiku actually looks pretty damn good. I haven't seen an item with as many stats yet, especially not a +skill one. The Novice Warrior's Breastplate is a set piece. Looks a lot better than that Blondel's, which is seeming more and more like lolIsenhart's... augh the nightmares...

I personally think they're pretty spiffy. Sealed on equip, like the sword up there would be, so if you want the Sword, make sure you're gonna use it since you'd have to NPC it after lol.

I've been having difficulties maintaining a clean inventory though. I'm a packrat and I pick up everything I see unless it's small change now, but I quickly run out of weight capacity... It's a pretty interesting feature. Last time I played a game with that... Priston Tale. Had inventory grid too though, like Diablo II which was much cooler, but every single damn potion took up 1 weight value in that... At least you could buy potions in that... for the most part...

Yes but in the actual game you get lots of goodies for your chars. Joe if you want me and Jared party usually around 2-3pm EST and just run the dungeons and quest if youwant to join us youare more than welcome.

ok i was reading these posts for fun after just hopping on this site to see what it was about and i was appaled at the lack of information, so i decided to answer some question to anyone that would want them answerd.

1. the evil stress bar. the stress bar has 156 stress in it a day it gose down by one every map you move into a dungeon, you can alternitivly do WAR wich will take 30 stress per match, once its gone, its gone and you must wait for it to reset, there are how ever some events that can give you extra stress, theres also a way to gain a few stress, if you mentor a person the more stress they use you earn a tiny bit of stress back.

2. job advances. job advances alow you to make a choice of sub classes at lvl 18 each class haveing 4 or so to change into the quests for each class can be found here.http://dnfwiki.machine-code.com/index.ph...=Main_Page

3. RANKS, some of you may have nouticed that you gain a rank at the end of a dungeon F,E,D,C,B,A,S,SS,SSS any thing after A gives a EXP bounes at the end, so getting SSS in any dungeon maximizes the amount of EXP you get, on that note, you can also "cheat" ranks at a cost of Revival coins, everytime you die your "rank" will increase by one, for example, if you would have had an A yull die once and get an S twice SS thre times SSS or if you wer at B itl be A, then S then SS alowing you to grab extra EXP if you have all your coins near the end of your stress bar.

4. Dungeons and servers. this is the last peice of help i will give you. in the korean version at certian levels you may go to certian channles channles near your lvl increase difficulty and exp exp bouneses are usealy welcomed as well. now as a dungeon plan, ANY well played charc should be able to solo Kings road ANY dungeon with ease untill Sky tower *3'rd dungeon" wich conists of the "dragon,puppet,golum,knights, and sorry i forget the last,"

i myself can solo all of these without dieing once on kings road while being lower level then the dungeon its self, its a matter of skill.

once that has past id expect you to party.

now as a final good bye i wanna express my gratituid if you hadent flamed me yet, by giveing you a hint on a wepon to look out for

its called the "star shine Drop" its a Katana and a VERY rare one at that 10/1000 people would own it per server, being worth over hundreds of millions. if you get this gloroius wepon i say Grats and with that i take my leave =) if you have questions just pm me


-edit- its come to my ettention some of you dont know about aromer passivs. as ive been getting some pm's about them first let me say that yes you can use the strongest pkate aromer in the game as a mage, now your gunna get all over my butt saying that im wrong, but you should NOT use plate for a mage, why? simple MASTERYS passive masterys are given to each class when they strt out and some upgrades are given to some classes apon job change, why use aromer related to these passives? easy. the fact that you get a lot of stat bossts from them is one reason for example you can get intel, and max mana and mana regain stats or diffrent stats for a mage while wearing cloth this alows you to be more stable and not run outa mana half way through the dungeon and be forced to spend half an hour hitting them to death. this gose for all classes each haveing diffrent effects and stats. im not saying DONT use diffrent aromer types, there will be times then a aromer type you have will be far superior even with the passive bones just keep this in mind though if you ever get aromer, make sure its better or worse AFTER equiping it, for things such as Purple or higher items, makeing absolutly sure itl be your aromer type befor you equip it can be the best possibal thing you do so you dont end up throwing money away,

since i have you hear ill talk about avatars as well.

avatars are a dress up equipment that masks over your natrual aromer and allows you to look diffrent then your base looks, this how ever is not there only perpous they also add effects stats and other helpfull things.

yes these cost REAL money to buy from the cashop but they can also be traded ingame for ingame money as well. *not like maple where you cant do that* also these avatars can be bout for diffrent time pirodes. days.weeks.months and even for ever. allowing you to keep them forever :3 *once agian reminds you how much you hate maple huh?*

now im not gunna give a detaild explination on avatars since im lazy and i dont want too, go to someone els for that, but i will give you one more peice of information. pets

basicly a pet has 3 evelutions. first stage, second stage, and third stage
like avatars they can give added effects and stat boosts, and they also help in battle. a fully upgraded last stage pet can be as strong or stronger then a lvl 30 charecter. *pretty baddass huh?*
