Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread

FINALLY this day in DFO turns around. It was so frustrating and crappy to start off with... But just now, I SS'd both Silver Night and Dendroid Jungle Master's (thus unlocking two King's I was missing). And I found this:

Is AradSociety supposed to be useful? I'm not understanding what it's telling me as far as how much of each skill to get. o_o;

Of course it's useful. It gives you a way to see if the builds you want to do (or are thinking about doing) are possible. It shows you how you can spend all of your points and helps you avoid mistakes. After you hit 18, your points don't reset again. You have to be certain how you want to use your points.

It doesn't tell you how much you should get of each. That's for you to decide. Try doing some research if you're having trouble. You can read other people's builds and opinions on certain skills. You can also watch videos to check out how skills work/look.

It might just be my class, but frankly the most trouble I have with deciding my skill builds is seeing what the skill does and how well it feels/responds in situations.

There's just so many skills to choose from, and it's hard to say which is really going to be useful and which ones aren't. I think it just takes a little getting used to.

One of the foes was a lv 36 Mechanic, another was a 24...some kind of fighter. One was a low level slayer, the other a moderate level Monk. My fights against Joe and Kajiti helped a lot with making my fighting style. Most of my wins were pretty solid ones, though I had some close moments when I landed in bad spots from jumpshots.[/COLOR]

Does any striker use Power Fist in dungeon? I heard somewhere it's good for pve. But when I use it, I don't really see anything except it slows my attacks down :/

And what does Enemy Immobility Chance mean? Like lv1 Power Fist says 130%, and lv2 Crushing Fist says 205.3%

tbh I've seen a whole lot of Penril Leather Gloves lately. Hell, I even have one!


Power Fist tends to stop enemies much better than most of your other attacks. It's also good for traveling a very short distance really fast (you have to hold a direction key for that to happen though). It's quite ideal for reactions when you're killing stuff and you're being threatened by other enemies, mostly from the flank. It's also good for attack-through strategies, where you go to the enemy's back while attacking. That being said though, Power Fist should NOT be used to stun hit-recovery unique monsters or for large mobs.

^ I think you got them messed up. Power Fist is the buff, which I was talking about. The attack is Crushing Fist, which is pretty handy like you said.

Out of quests at lv23, ground almost the whole fatigues bar doing dragon nest and only got to 71% :/ Did get 2x champagne and other nice shiits in return though

That fighter was prob lagging - she did take damage at some point.

I know she took damage in the first room, but then she AFKed for some ungodly reason (she let us know beforehand), then said 'lolback i just turned something on'.

Alright guys, you know that crazy octopus I was talking about earlier? I have an SS of it now! I dunno why it started doing that again... You can see one of the monsters bleeding, and the culprit is the bottom blue octopus.

It's even more awesome when they attack summons. When my swatter summons the Tau Beast (the HUGE one) and one of the octos latches onto it, it creates a massive explosion. Yes, an explosion. They jump all the way up to its face, latch on, suck and then BOOM.

Uh... you know, octopi don't just suck each other's faces off randomly, let alone blue ones... let alone cause bleeding ... or go even faster than the small pink octopi...

Can anyone help me get an SS in Vest? (who is around my level, I don't want my Noob-O-Meter to go up)
