Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

It always depends on the situation. Lets say you're dominating a caitlyn vs ashe match up and you just killed her and you've 1350 gold and one dorans blade. She comes back and starts to dominate you despite you're little level advantage because she now has 2 dorans blade and boots. You've to either play very defensive now and wait it out till bf sword or you push and go b yourself picking up 2 dorans blade and boots to once again give you the advantage. There are also moments where you're forced b, like after a skirmish where you've janna as support who can't heal you back, while ashe on the other hand is half hp again due to sona. You only have 1000 gold so you can't buy your bf sword so you take something that gives you the advantage. It's also a great counter to certain burst champions in mid. After a long while of playing mid agains people like malzahar, annie and brand you know how much they can pull off in one combo. Get enough dorans ring health to counter that and you'll live through it. Although this can be achieved by getting a catalyst too. It all depends on situation. Just try to up your champion knowledgde and item knowledge and press tab from time to time to see what everyone has.

You should play ranked when you get two full rune pages for two completely different setups (like, ad carry and tank, or ap carry and jungle) and when you can play everyone role in the game (support, jungle, ad carry, ap carry, tank) decently well.

Well, that's what you SHOULD do. I....jumped into rank with only one full rune page and 4/5 roles decently well (...can't play jungle...). Hence my low elo (I'll bring it up Q_Q).

In the meantime, practice in draft pick normals.

Whenever I play with Zendaine I always get interrupted. The hell.

Played a long game with Kog'Maw. Took three dragons by myself. On the third one, they CV'd me, but I didn't give a shyt.

Also in the same game, Graves and Koggles versus Cait and Taric. Ohgawdwhy! Ironically, when Taric initiated on me, we just blew up Caitlyn instead.

I agree that Cait is much stronger laner then Ashe, but that arrow of her will bring a straight up 1v1 in her favour. Especially with a level and/or item advantage. Not to mention that going base sometime even though you're full health can be smart too, because then you'll just be dominating harder instead of letting ashe get equal farm and she beats Caitlyn late game so Caitlyn will have to make the laning phase count.

Ofcourse it's debateable, but Ashes arrow is one of the strongest iniates in the game and the AoE slows she provides outweigh the utility Caitlyn's traps give in my opinion. Caitlyn is way stronger early game though and if she abuses this she'll be stronger mid and early late game too, but I'd take a fully built Ashe over a Caitlyn anyday.

So PBE is up for the past 2 days or so; had the opportunity to run a test game, and it went well (didn't note any bugs in that game, but there will be some unforeseeable ones as I play more test games). Here's the replay if you guys want to see it (hopefully LoL Recorder works its magic with the PBE client, lol)

Do note: Testers start out with 4,000 RP and 10,000 IP. The current week's free champs rotation are provided, so you have to purchase your own champs and runes.

Apparently one of the LoL U regulars who I find to be kinda unfriendly and a downer when playing a losing game got a warning from the tribunal. Guess I have somewhat of an idea how bad you have to be to get nailed.

Well atm I'm not like 5 RP away from being able to obtain a certain skin/champion (or something along those lines). Do Riot give people RP if they draw stuff for them + are very short of getting to that certain RP amount?

Though I must note that I did post it as a "skin idea" on GD, but I got downvoted pretty hard. =(

Also: Herper Derper, Why u so op on dominion bot? Since the enemy team got Nocturne before i could i was forced to go with Xerath to try and defend bot and wtpBBQ, no matter what i did to herper derper he always pushed like a mad truck, ended up losing bot like 4-5 times thx to him, but at least we won the game since my team managed to snatch/neutralize the enemy bot and mid tower a few times.

I think I'm buying nasus, whenever he's free I have a lot of fun with him and if you farm enough it's a sure great late game.
