Original Dragon Nest Thread

Too lazy to remember what stat stats I had when I did it so I'll just post what I currently have:



All Armor +6. All of it crafted to Intellect except Gloves which are sturdy. All of it have +3.5% Intellect Hidden Ability.

Skeleton Sword and Gauntlet both +10 Intellect. Both with +5.8% M. Atk and P. Atk.

Argenta's Breath.
Wise Amber Earrings. +3.5 Int. 3.25 Vit. Max HP 6.5.
Mystical Amber Ring. +5.8% M. Atk. 4.5 Agility and 3.5 Int.
Balanced Guard Ring. +5.8 M. Atk. 3.5 Int.

Quality Fierce Crest (+Crit)
Superb Wise Crest (+Int, Vitality and +Int %) Was reward from Gold Chest in Mino Nest. Use Quality Life-giving during the run.
Quality Mystical (+M. atk)
Quality Destructive (+P. Atk)
Cow Strike Crest

I hope it doesn't cost us a lot of crude onyxs to enhance the equips in the early stages.

Epic stuff uses class-specific gems + diamonds once you reach +6. All other rarities use onyx. Now:

Low level stuff requires onyx fragments (it's a small piece, hence fragment)

The stuff we can get right now requires crude onyx (it's not a good quality piece of gem)

The next level stuff, like say 32~ requires a higher grade of onyx called "Average onyx" (It's like half a piece of a gem)

The level after that, level 40~, requires average gems as well

The level after that, level 50~, requires "Quality Onyx" (It looks like a whole gem)

tl;dr: crude onyx is going to be semi-worthless like onyx fragments since you can't use them to upgrade higher level gear. Same with the class specific ones

Several spoilerzzz in the trailer; kinda disappointing. But a cool trailer nonetheless.

Sort of. It does depend how easy green/blue level 32~ stuff is to obtain. If it's as easy as 24, then crude onyx will deflate. There still will be people who want to enhance crude onyx stuff since they can't level that fast and whatnot.

Anyone wanna give advice to a nub mercenary? I cant solo abyss assassin's den without dying at least 2 times >.> (I am level 16 now though, but i could do that ezpz on my acrobat)

I guess I'm having a hard time staying out of corners since their skills are on crazy long cooldowns after you use them. Then i can't avoid air hits until level 17, so corner + dark elves = me flying for like 15 seconds and losing nearly 95% of my health.

I haven't had the chance to try a melee class yet, but I've always avoided Dark Elf kicks by knocking them down when they start flipping towards me or dodging away, and running in a circle the whole time lol. I'll have to play a Warrior some time.

Advanced an Elementalist today. Pretty sweet skills at 15. I'm looking forward to getting to 24 if I have the time.

Question:
Is the HP/MP gain when a character levels up based on how much STR/INT you have prior to leveling?

Trying to figure out how some sharpshooters have an absurd amount of HP and still have godly phys/magic damage.

I'm a sharpshooter and have almost 12k HP and 6.6k MP with most of my gear having between +8 - +10 enhancements with AGI % and HP% armor. The sharpshooter who solo'ed nest video that someone posted, the character seems to have around 20k hp and deals almost double my damage.

I have bad memory apprently =( or I'm just really jelly of that SS who solo'ed nest.

HP/MP are easy to get in this game if you can enhance the crap out of everything. That's how i got my pally to 10k HP (which is still ridiculously low in comparison to people who just farm all day every day on their characters).

Both my warrior and acrobat have equivalent HP values for some reason o_o 5.5khp

Some equips give you more stats for enhancement than other. Tops easily give 3x more than boots for example.
