I'm not quite sure, but it seems that the things they put on the spreadsheet are pre-metastasis quotes? It'd be a bit odd to be translating S1-3 stuff when it's all going to be redone in a later update anyways, since they seem to be retranslating stuff.

I doubt it -- there's a reason why it's being outsourced to the community. They probably thought about doing it and decided it wasn't worth taking up company resources. I HIGHLY doubt that this little project will actually take part in delaying the beta...They have to recoup the initial investment of localizing the game, and this wouldn't really be worth delaying the game.

Also, on second thought, this is probably just a test to see how accurate/quick fan translations are. Considering that we already saw them translating a quote from Kiri from Season 3, this isn't much of an indicator of how much process has been made thusfar.

EDIT: As of this post, the translation on the spreadsheet is 51.60% done...I bet there's a TON of grammatical errors/typos/machine translations though.

I've translated like 15% - 20% of it.

Yup, pretty much all of 700 - 900 is my doing. Woo, 20%.

I left it up overnight to see the progress as soon as I woke up. DAMN 72%! Good job, [MENTION=44]Loose[/MENTION]. My thinking is that they are pulling translations from the community for pre-Metastasis just to see how this will work out with community contributions. I hope this is enough to show them that the community cares about the game's progress.

They updated their FB cover photo to the New Balance promo and UI photo. Mmmmmm, so close I can almost taste it!

Out of 1000 lines of the text, more than 50% was translated within an hour, and 100% within a day!

That's really fucking annoying and confusing. It's hard to draw conclusions about where exactly this update is going to land DFOG, but then again I guess I should just wait patiently like a normal person.

Everything points to them starting DFOG in season 3, I think.
Metastasis happened in S4, the female slayer+new balance patches(the cover pages) were in S3, and the Kiri quote from one of the FB posts a while ago was implemented in season 3.

I'd be SUPER happy if they started with New Balance, because every single class became so much more enjoyable with that update.

Highlights:
-Active Awakenings go from 200 SP per level to 150
-More gold dropped
-Made party EXP be equivalent to solo-ing (so no reason to not party unless your party sucks hard)
-One extra row to character inventory
-Every class getting skill buffs one way or another
-Dungeon enemies had their HP increased to accommodate the damage increase, but their damage decreased as well.

Huge QoL change for many of my mains, such as 120s duration/30s CD Definite Grab for MGrap, HUGE delay reductions for EB and some nice buffs for Fmech and Mexo.
